  1. rare frost grey leather seats CHEAP http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172149751523?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  2. Is it a genuine nissan back box? If so for 70 ill take it, im miles away but i could probaly get the courier we use for work to collect it when shes next up that way, can it be collected that way?
  3. Looks like a nice one in my opinion, as suggested just find out why it was cat c? Ive had loads of cat c and d cars and never been burnt. Just look it over properly. Yes it will be worth a bit less when you sell it but your buying it cheaper to start with. Buy it, drive it, run it upto to 100k, get your moneys worth out of it and sell it on. To many people buy cars wrap them in cotton wool/ hardly drive them thinking about re sale values, some even think they will never sell it (most people sell in the end) Cars are meant to be driven and a cat c or d is a great way to get a hr engined car which is far superior to the other models for a very good price.
  4. Hi cant decide which lip looks best from tarmac, either a Gt or a nismo style, i have a midnight blue hr, if anyone has any pics of theirs id appreciate seeing them. I looked on tarmacs website but i need more pictures to decide.

  7. All parts are used, i just gave them an almighty clean up, colour looks right to me. They came with some alezan seats i bought but i prefer the black parts i already had
  8. Hi for sale a cloth interior in very good condition. Car had 40k when it was removed. Its also just been fully cleaned. In my quest for the best seats in a 350z for my bad back ive had several types. I found the original leather seats very poor, very slippy and sitting way to high in the car, i removed them and fitted cloth ones, these sit lower (no heaters and motors underneath) and dont let you slip around. Im looking for 120 pounds. There is one small point of wear on the drivers bolster, looks like where someones caught an item of clothing (zip?) getting in or out ,see the pic Collection from basingstoke only, or send your own courier
  9. Hi. I have for sale some alezan interior parts i want 100 pounds for the lot. Not willing to split im afraid. Collection from basingstoke or didcot. Or i can post for an extra 7 quid.
  10. Hi, Ill take the seats at the asking price if you can wait till week commencing the 27th this month for payment….. I will either pop up and collect them myself or arrange a courier…..
  11. been looking for a set of these for months in the hope they'd ease a back issue I have, already swapped from frost grey leather to cloth in the hope that a gripper material would resolve the issue ( it didn't) after months of looking I'd given up! If these had come up a day earlier I'd have bought them, yesterday I stuck my zed in the garage ( where she'll live till my backs recovered) and bought a mazda 6 MPS as the seats felt amazing. Just my luck to be honest! Goog luck with the sale, sure I remember your user name from the sxoc?
  12. I do about 1400 miles a month currently, I don't potter about either , im a firm believer in sports cars should be driven like sports cars, I lose count of the amount of nice cars I see doing an economy 55mph with the lorries on my daily commute. I used to have a very special 200sx s14a which I spent about 20k building over 6 years, I hardly ever drove it so the only person who benefited was the next owner, he got a really mint low mileage car, I swore then that whatever I bought next I use everyday properly, I'm now on zed number 2 as I have to sell them on once the mileage starts getting high. My next one will be a 370z and I'll use it in exactly the same way...
  13. I'm not aggrevived in the slightest! I got 5.5k for a car that needed about 2.5k + of work. If I'd have done the work and sold it privately I'd have struggled to get 7k in today's market, 6.5k would be more realistic. When I was offered 5.5k I couldn't sign the paperwork fast enough and get out of there. I put it on here as did not like the thought of someone paying top money for a car that needs thousands spent imminently. I have no problem with car traders there just trying to make a living, but do I trust them? No I don't.
  14. I'd say it's very unlikely. He probaly picked it up at auction between 6 and 6.5k. So a standard mark up of 2k. Makes it 8.5k. It only had 6 months mot when I sold it so I expect it's either had a 'friendly mot done now' or will have a 'friendly mot done when it's sold' . I'd bet all its had is a machine polish before it went to auction. As I said the cosmetic condition would make you assume it's been cherished, even the seats look brand new, I religiously wash, wax, Hoover , treat leather each week on all the cars I own, but this was just an 'interesting' car to get me from home to work 400 miles each week. I just took a car allowance from work and spent the bare minimum keeping it on the road, as the issues piled up it started to make no financial sense to repair them , I'd have never got back what I needed to spend. hence just an oil change every 10k then a Palm off to a car buying website when I genuinely felt money needed to be spent. I'm now using a diesel daily and keeping my hr zed for weekend use.
  15. its definelty my car, I can tell i sat in it for 50k miles, it has bridgestone re50a on the front, continetals on the rear, retro fitterd seats and gear knob, even the wear on the drivers mat is excatly the same.
  16. Not sure if this is the best place to put this, but this being my old zed I thought I'd make any potential new owners aware of several issue that will cost money very soon. In fact I sold the car as I actually owned two, this one and late model hr. This one was sold as despite it looking mint (I looked after it cosmetically ) it needs some serious work which I very much doubt has been done. I sold it to a car buying website for 5.5k. It needed the following when I sold it end of Jan: http://www.autotrade...dcars?logcode=p 1. It imminently needs a clutch it's on its original (79,000 miles) and after a long drive its smells very strongly, also pedal is very high. 2. It needs front discs and pads, 3. Both main front suspension bushes have split in half and need replacing. 4. It's has an issue with rust on the rear edge of the roof, hard to spot as the car looks so good but it's going to be a nightmare for someone soon. Runs right the way across width of roof on underside of where roof meets rear hatch. 5. The drivers side electric motor only works intermittently. 6. Non Bose head unit - CD' s constantly skip. 7. Exhaust is on its last legs I welded one section up but it will break again soon in several places. 8. It had started to use oil much faster (I know lots of rev up cars do this) but the usage had gone up considerably. 9. It's also on its original set of spark plugs as far as I was aware. I owned it 4 years we stuck 50k miles on it. 10. The last 50k miles servicing is not dealer stamped, I only changed the oils every 10k and wrote it in the book no p1, p2 , p3 inspections been Carried out, it's was a nice way to do 400 miles a week to and from work but it was a work horse not a cherished example mechanically (that was saved for my hr which had un till early Feb spent more time in our garage than on the road the past few years) Basically all wear and tear stuff but the excellent cosmetic appearance inside and out will potentially blind a new buyer. I let it go for 5.5k as it would have cost me several thousand to get mechanically sound again. Hope this is of use to someone either in avoiding it or giving you the info you need to haggle. Rather interestingly it's now up for more than I bought it for with just 30k miles 4 years ago (from a dealer). I paid 8200 in for it in 2011 ( height of the recession)
  17. I have a 2008 hr which has done 40k miles, I have what I suspect is a power steering issue. The reservoir was below minimum and there was some severe vibration (not felt through the steering wheel though) just the car in general, this occured even at idle. After topping up the fluid and bleeding the system the vibration / noise only remains while turning right? Does not seem to matter how many times I bleed the power steering there is always bubbles in the reservoir afterwards, they dissipate quickly though. Im left with thinking the system must me sucking air somewhere? Anyone had a similar issue? Any likely areas to check?
  18. And for the record I was not chancing anything, I bought the seats like this for considerably more than I was trying to sell them for. Never fitted them as I owned 2 zed' s at the time, an 06 rev up with mint orange leather, and a midnight blue 08 hr with a cloth seats. Plan was to fit the frost grey into the hr, however I decided the cloth seats were better in the more performance focused hr, Seats sit a little lower and actually give more support and being cloth you slide around less, hence why these were never fitted. Been thinking about getting them out of storage for 6 months or so to clear some space. Why can't I be bothered to sort the connector issue myself? Same reason they sat around for 3 years in storage, l have better things to do with my time and have no financial need to get them sold. I put them up at a reasonable price and cleary stated the connector issue. I was not chancing anything.
  19. You should see my people management skills they far surpass my sales skills
  20. Why would anyone get a quote from a garage to do a 10 miniute wiring job an 8 year old could complete! Add electrical connectors, extend wires then add the connector from your exsisting seats or buy a new one. Fit seats..... Seats no longer for sale I'll store them in the hope potential buyers technical ability improves in the next couple of years .
