  1. I've got 5mm slip ons on the front of mine as the wheels needed pushing out ever so slightly to match the rear, it's subtle but you can notice it.

People tend to go for 20mm on front and 25mm on rear with rays.

  2. Mine has always had a slight rattle on start up (about a second) especially when been left standing for a while so that all the oil had dropped. Never been worried about it. Engine runs perfectly and is whisper quiet when warm and idling. :)

    +1

  3. Yeah that's exactly what i'm thinking, i've driven past hundreds of cops, including traffic police, never been pulled up on my front plate up until yesterday...

  4. I think the size of it may possibly be illegal, it was a standard jap plate but i cut it down so it fit better, but the copper was saying that it was illegal because of the reason in the OP

  5. My zed is a jap import yet I received a £60 fine last night because apparently it's illegal to have a square numberplate on the front of your car if it is after a certain year and can accommodate for a standard UK plate?...

Very nice addition to the zed and they have a beautiful finish to them.

Fitment is spot on but the only problem is that when you apply the sticky pads it pushes out the cover so it leaves the edges uncovered, can't really notice it from a distance though and tbh it doesn't really bother me because either way i think they look f***ing smart B) I probably just need to improve my sticky pad placement skills

Enough of the talk anyway, lets get onto the pictures B)

Please excuse how dirty my car is, haven't had the time to clean it but dw she'll get a good going over tomorrow ;)

What do you guys reckon? :)

  7. I am aware that if your front and rear wheels don't have the same RR the ABS/TCS and whatnot will throw a hissy fit. I bought some new wheels recently (rears) for drift days and test fitted them to see if they were ok, so i took it for a drive to check for any odd noises etc. I disabled VDC thinking it would be ok, and to start with it was absolutely fine.

Then occured this weird intermittent buzzing noise from the rear of the car, so immediately i took it home and changed the wheels back over, and took it for another drive to check all was ok.

At first it was, but then the buzzing noise came back and i have no idea why it's doing it, it has got to be THE most annoying and irritating sound EVER :bang:

I'm assuming it must be something to do with the ABS, but i can't figure out what exactly is causing this noise. See vid below:

Anyone have any ideas of what it is or how i can fix it? I can't drive around with that noise, it's driving me round the f***ing bend :bang:
