I think they are all really quiet, mines gone off before when I left the window down whilst I was stood next to it, I didn't even relaise it was mine that was going off as it was so quiet until a passer by told me to turn it off.

I've just been to Nissan today to get a replacement for mine. They had three different sets of tools. The set that contained the correct one for me had abour 16 different keys in it. Anyway they found the right one but it wasnt in stock so they say it will be a week for it to come in and cost £17

sounds like a good price to me, I paid £8500 for mine from a Nissan dealer, sounds the same as yours, 56 plate 82K on the clock, GT spec, satnav etc.
Has his not got 8400 on the clock rather than 84000?
hard to say as the op actually says 8400000 miles so i assumed he meant 84K

sorry for reviving an old thread. Did anyone ever find out if the excess trim or O2 sensor voltages were ok? I have the same thing, all of my 02 sensors read .3V except for one which reads .6v and my long term trim is up at 8%. Just want to know everything is ok or if I should be looking for air leaks or new O2 sensors or cats.

Yeah the Antrim coast road or A2? is amazing, I was working in Larne for 3 months last year and most evenings i would go out on that road and drive hard, it's fantastic with nice corners, good straights, hardly any traffic and a decent length not to mention the views and being able to see Scotland as you drive along.

they might all be the same but i'm not sure so safer to ask for a facelift one
-
well I might be able to arrange something
-
yeah yours will be a facelift one Hannah, you could always take it off your car for me and then you would have a knob in your hands
-
Has anyone got a original facelift gearknow lying around?
-
yep your right, put a screwdriver under it today and it popped straight out, tightened up the handbrake cable, can't believe how much of a difference it has made, the car holds on pretty much any hill now, before you could push it on a flat with the handbrake on

are you sure? I was pulling on it and it wasn't coming out easily, didn't want to pull to hard for fear of braking it
-
Does anyone know how you remove the little felt lined coin holder next to the cup holder on the face lift models? I want to get under it so I can adjust my handbrake.

cheers everyone, I've got no idea where it went. I was hoping not to have to size the other one as it's a nightmare to get out without the correct torx bit but guess I'll have to try it again.

Cleaned my MAF sensor today but stupidly I lost one of the two bolts that hold it in, does anybody know what size they are and where I could get one from? Also do you think I will be ok driving the car with the MAF sensor only held in by one screw?

this morning, resending it now.

yeah I've PM'd CS as I wasnt sure if he was a supplier or a garage. I'm waiting to hear back from him. Cheers for the help both of you.

Does anyone know of a decent garage in or around Nottingham that knows there way around a Z? I got my brakes and clutch lines done yesterday but it looks like the garage messed up the bleeding.

Well I've just had a look on auto trader, at first I was about how much the prices had dropped but then as I got half way though the listings the prices seemed to become more reasonable. Looks to me like there's a lot for sale at the moment and alot of people trying to get rid of them quickly and so dropping their prices a lot. It was only in feb that I got mine and it took me 3 months of searching to find the right one as there were so few 06 Azure's that were coming up for sale for less than 9k. I think if you want a quick sale then you will be looking at around £7000 if you can hold out a while then I would still push for £9000 so long as it has been serviced every 12 months and is in mint condition.

When I was looking a few months ago most 56 plate Z's with around 40k on the clock were going for about £10,000 from a garage (not Nissan) so private your probably looking at around a £1000 less than that. The extra low mileage doesn't seem to increase value much at all from what I've seen.

Does anyone know if you can fit 2 x 245/45R18 michelin pilot super sports in a Z? Camskill have got them at a very good price but they haven't got the fronts so I'm looking at ordering the fronts from somewehere that does fitting and ordering the rears off camskill and taking them with me so they can fit them all at the same time.
