It should just need 30 and 32 wiring back into the loom but I don't see why the dealers wouldn't have done it that way. Could you not get a bigger speaker?
Had a go at fixing it after reading the FAQ section on the incartec site:
Tried the recommended fix, now the steering wheel controls don't work at all. Will try with the new cable next weekend
Bugger, I got the 29-007 patch lead. Fitted the stereo today and have a strange issue where it's turning the volume down by itself. I haven't tried to debug it yet but do you think this could be the cause?
The AUX on the Pioneer P80BT is a 3.5mm stereo mini. Following this guide: http://www.ehow.co.uk/how_7200615_mini- ... iring.html . Should pins 30, 31 and 32 be connected to the 3.5mm jack?
I've search the forums and struggled to find a definitive answer (or idiots guide) on how to wire the built in sat nav audio into the AUX on a new headunit. It's an 06 model.
I understand there should be 3 wires for the sat nav in the loom but I'm unclear which wires they are and how should they be connected to the new headunit.
Could anyone point me in the right direction?
Impressive packing! Got a 3 week camping trip round Europe planned for summer, should be fun fitting it all in.
The boot would be huge without the spare wheel and fittings around it.
