You should have pm, website is being a bit funny on the work network...

Had my first "ooh, thats a bit slidey" moment this morning, are these still good to go?
-
Let me rephrase that then, OP, would you be happy to have them couriered to Aberdeen?
-
I know its a longshot, but any idea how much these would cost to courier up to Aberdeen?
-
Meh.
2 Hours of not an awful lot happenening - they got the franchise very wrong with die another day and its ridiculousness, but the Craig films have went too far the other way IMO - Bond films are supposed to be a bit camp, with silly gadgets, silly cars and silly plots - not a vehicle for people with turtlenecks and rimless glasses to waffle on about camera angles.
As A kid I loved Bond - watched Goldeneye on tape (and played the game) far more than was healthy - can't imagine I would get as excited about a beardy bloke with a radio transmitter as I would with a guy driving a tank through St. Petersburg.

Shipping cost is a major factor in the total cost of the nismo exhaust, the box is HUGE!!!
That got me too - my cousin loved it as a fort, I was most jealous.
-
Everyone is on about the exhaust sounding better aftermarket wise, but i think the little noise a std exhaust has when u rev, then calmsbdown and has a little brum brum at the end, aftermarket still retain that?
Apologies for my horrendous description
My nismo certainly does - moving off slowly in first it is really noticable, childish grin every time
-
Would say HFCs - simply for the abilty to swan through a MOT without any hassle
-
With a popcharger, Motordyne plenum spacer, Berk HFCs and a Nismo exhaust, my 276 makes 289.5 after a remap.
-
After all my mods but before my remap, the exhaust was sooty as anything, during mapping they showed me that it was running slightly lean - now it is sootier than ever and does an occasional fire fart when the pipes are hot
-
Jon, you have a PM
-
After extiensive youtubing my mind was made up - HFC's and the Nismo exhaust is a match made in heaven - pretty similar to the normal Z noise, just a bit more of it - bellowy growl untill about 3500 rpm then it just starts shouting its way towards the horizon
Keep meaning to sort a decent sound clip, had the go pro on the back, but not great quality...

Your bag makes it look like we have the same employer
Ex employer now - no longer bleed for the big blue machine

Do ski's fit in a zed? Or are they going on the roof!?
You Can:
You can just see the skis in there - wouldn't like to have a passenger in there though - severe decapitation risk I would have though!
-
so autosol/mehuires silencers, but the actual back box all i can do is spray or buy new one. ah well spray it is
Noo, a new one is always the answer. Next to a Zed at the lights today with the standard 'zorst, made me reliase how much I love the Nismo
-
I have a non working passenger side one if that is any use?
Still attached to the car at the moment, but should be replaced this weekend
-
Call me a cynic, but this has a distinct whiff of a compo claim about it.
Also, a grown woman with a "burny feeling"?

Had a rental transit for sofa moving duties last week. I don't think either the gearbox or engine really liked my "white van man" driving style.
Had a lot of fun taking it an early morning blast round the twisties - I imagine it was the first time this particular transit had been treated to the joys of heel-toeing

I use a Gilette Fusion Power Stealth (mostly because of the awesome name) on my face when I need to look presentable - takes about 4 seconds and give a half decent result - fortunately I can get away with having a bit of face fungus on the go, so most of the manscaping is dealt with by a set of clippers.
-
Picked mine up today - slightly gutted I didn't order more of them - for 13 quid it is a solid bit of kit - not going to bother a decent Hi-Fi system, but for a set of bedroom speakers, you couldn't want much more.
Good shout on this one, expected to get rumbled and them to say there was a mistake until I actually had the box under my arm - chucked it in the boot of the Zed and drove off like a getaway driver
-
Would probably be going early, hitting the south deeside road at 10ish, so the obvious meeting place would be the sainsburys carpark at garthdee, if there is next to no interest though, I will probably just do my own thing.
-
Anyone keen for (an addmittedly short notice) hoon this Saturday - weather seem to look semi ok...
Not that good at Aberdeenshire, so open to suggestions, but heading out on the south Deeside, muck about in the countryside for a bit (maybe head out to Aboyne and back?), stop for ice cream and posey photos (what, 9 degrees and overcast is perfect ice cream weather...) and then scoot home was the rough plan.
I will probably be out and about making a racket anyway - I'll be in the orange thing with the Nismo soundsystem on the back
-
Keen as a keen thing.
Should have the car dyno'd and remapped by then too
-
It also answers some other guys question on here last week about whether you can fit a pair of ski`s in a zed....
You can indeed - although they need to go in from the front and be maneuvered carefully back - they are 178cm powder skis, so not exactly small either
ESP.........Who drives with it on or off?

Off most of the summer. With good tyres, unless you are driving like a complete muppet, the car won't bite.
On over the winter - has caught me out a few times going for gaps and cutting the power, but better safe than sorry when the roads are covered with ming I guess.
