  1. Thought I recognised you. From the hq meet up?
  2. bonnet now done. word of advice if people are looking at doing vinyl, make sure you have a friend. it was a nightmare trying to do bonnet myself (friend ditched me for a girl. pfft) whole car looking to be done by august.
  3. The white thin one? Yeah it's a tiny bit and a crease on it but still goes straight. Reckon it's worth changing that first?
  4. Tried it again and fuse keeps blowing. Only thing I can guess is that it's the heating module. That's got a tiny nic in it but didn't think that'd do much. Any specialists anyone knows that I could take it to who would be able to fix it up?
  5. So I tried the fuse box, found broken one, changed it and all worked fine, for about 100metres. Going to remove centre console completely and check all connections again then put new fuse in and see if that works. Any reason why it might be blowing fuses other than connection?
  6. Who's he? I'll try fuse box fuses tomorrow, check I've not blown one while tinkering around
  7. I've removed the unit and rep lugged in connections, vstill no luck. Thinking I might have damaged it whilst removing which I've done about 12 times. Looking at the PDF files, any idea which one is for fuses? And if the fuses are still in working order, what's the next step? Order the unit and just reoplug in or am I better spending more and going to specialist?
  8. changed cd player few weeks ago then went back to old bose after. was bout a week since i put it back in before faults started
  9. tried fiddling around with the connector removing slot and reinstalling. still no joy. not sure what else i can do to the box? and could it be fuse?
  10. Hi, tried searching for the problem before posting but couldn't find the right wording to get any results so feel free to post a link to a problem already solved instead of explaining twice but basically my dials for rev speedo fuel etc aren't working, nor is my heating system. Any ideas what it could be? Has been working fine with nothing being touched, just out the blue. Cheers
  11. aslong as i keep the OEM cats i can put deleter pipes in and replave again begore M.O.T without it doing bad emissions right?
  12. 99ron fuel? is that the tesco garage fuel?
  13. best youtube channel out there. worth checking out their channel, the guy always takes it over the top
  14. I thoight it would be hard when listening to other peoples opinions and the fact companys do it for like 2grand+ , but it isnt too difficult. its taking between 2-3hours a panel but you definetly need 2 people. trief it myself a few times and wasted alot of vinyl. what colour you doing callipers?
  15. If i were to give tcut a go, it cant do much harm can it? ill post up before and after pic tomorrow
  16. Yeah i think carbon fibre for a whole car might not have been best choice. Heust habe felt gutted removing it all. Best part so far from what lads at work are saying is the rear ..strut bar (think its called) vinyl wrapped looks awesome when driving behind car. that was the easiest bit to do so well worth giving it a go. If anyone is looking at giving vinyl wrapping a go, ill have a fair bit of vinyl spare (only small bits from cut offs) and ill be happy to post them once cars complete to give people a chance to try it out without buying some.
  17. Got a scuffed looking headlight, faded looking. Got told from someone tcut would fix it. Anyone had same problem or tried this solution? I know every chav in the world says tcut to any car problem so just wanted to double check
  18. I believe its apple green. Takimg roughly 3hours per panel, done fender and 2 doors so far but nearly flipped with frustration doing fender. requires a fair bit of patience. Not as hard as i thought but it does get prettytedious. vinyl 2", pull back 1". constantly heating stretching and pulling back off. ill try get a video when doing another panel and upload with link so you can see.
  19. seems the uprev, spacer are good thing to go for. not much has been said on the hfc. Are tgey purely sound or does it actually give a minor difference thats recognisable? Guessing the only way to get 300+ is by turboing it?
  20. Ive got a K&N typhoon cold air intake at the moment and felt a big difference from that. probably gained very little but its more the sound and feel from inside the car im looking for. If i get 300 from those upgrades and its recognisable id be happy. anytging else i can do without throwing money into a pit? like polishing or cleaning fuel injectors?
