Hey guys, thanks ever so much for all the responses! I'll definitely check out Chipsaway first and then if need be contact some body shops. It was in a wee side street in Portobello in Edinburgh so sadly there's no CCTV. Parking is an absolute nightmare so I'm guessing it was either I stole someone's space (as they see it) or it was some daft little kid.

Absolutely gutting though that's for sure and even worse to hear so many folk here have had similar experiences!

So....I recently moved in to a new flat and was given a lovely welcome....my passenger side door, front and rear panel keyed.

The door scratch is a star shape, the front panel a wonderful squiggle and the rear a small line.

Needless to say I'm gutted but just weighing up my options on what's best to do.

I'm still strongly considering selling the car to get a 370...and while the marks are fairly light, I'm sure it would put a lot of potential buyers off. Does anyone know how much it would roughly cost to respray the drivers door and front (as the rear is barely noticeable)?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I had a ride in a GTR a few weeks ago. it was weird….it obviously felt fast but not as fast as I thought it would……however, when you watch the speedo….bloody heck it IS seriously quick. It just feels so composed though

Thanks Kyle. Would I feel a noticeable difference when driving? As I don't notice anything to be honest. One of my neighbours who's clued up on cars pointed it out and has made me paranoid.

Hey guys, I have my 350 lowered on k sport lowering springs with a pretty big drop...around 1 inch.

On one side it is now lower than the other, so low that there's no gap between the tyre and the car.

Any thoughts on what will need to be replaced and the cost to do this?

Thanks for the offers boys (again Jay ) I've just discovered that the finance company I'm using charge a £300 admin fee for private sales, need a Nissan inspection to be carried out and if the car doesn't already have a valid warranty, put one in place. So really it adds about £1000 on for buying privately.

Hmmm…interesting. I'm currently on the hunt for a 370z to upgrade to. I've not test driven a 370 yet. What made you feel the 350 was a better drivers car? A year's a long time to feel that way!

Mate, I had this problem. In the end I got got it to work in a different location. I'd done exactly the same thing about 100 times and then I was sat outside my girlfriends house and tried it again and it worked first time. Make sure your movements are quick and very deliberate. Good luck
