  1. Thanks for the reply Kyle, I understand that they need a bit of work to fit. I just remember ordering a bumper once on fleabay (dumb I know, young and naive) and the bumper was close to see through Just hoping it won't happen to me again
  2. Just had a mis hap on my Nismo v1 and thinking of upgrading to the v2, can anyone point me to a dealer to supply me with one? So far I've seen EPRacing, Tarmac, CS and RTP that supply the bumper, not sure if they're replicas or not but I'm gna contact them about that. Seeing a genuine is £1k I'm considering a replica. Question is, has anyone had any experience of fitting the kits from these dealers? I'm concerned with the quality and fitting.
  3. Thanks for that Chris, will try to see if i can get anyone to clean the window motors. I remember seeing somewhere on how to clean them but it just looked complicated...
  4. how are the boot struts? mine wont hold my boot up any more and also, can you get electric window motors out?
  5. Yea, it was the banana bar bush I changed, changed the drop links too with all the parts from Zmanalex. I'll check with him to see what else would cause the knocks.
  6. Hi guys, Got some annoying noises coming from the car recently. First off is the knocking, I've changed the hub carrier ball joints, drop links and banana arm bushes which has cured most of the knocking. There's still a small bit of knocking going on over bumps and the same knock occurs once when I suddenly apply the brakes and once again when I release the brakes quickly, it knock more constantly when I'm lightly braking too. The knocking only happens at low speeds. There's also a creaking sound coming from the near side front since I upgraded the bushes in the upper wishbone and lower control arm. This only happens when I go over a bump at low speeds, it's as if something rusty is rubbing against something. Is there any other part of the suspension that causes knocking? And anyone know what this weird creaking noise could be?

    Chassis leg

I'm assuming they're paying for it but they're having a tough time sourcing the part so I thought I'd try to look for one on the forum to try and speed things up. I missed out on all the good cruising weather since the car was stuck on their ramp! Alex has perfectly good chassis legs in stock, but I think the garage is trying to minimise on costs by finding just the stud and cutting a stud off a perfectly good leg would just be wrong.

    Chassis leg

Hi everyone, Got a slight dilemma on my hands. I brought my car to a garage to change the banana arm bush but they managed to break the stud which connects the bush to the chassis! I'm wondering if anyone would have a damaged chassis arm with the stud still intact so that I may salvage it? Any replies would be appreciated.
  10. Did you guys find out what was causing the creak? I fitted new bushes on my upper wishbone and lower control arm which felt great on the car until this creaking sound from the wheel arch developed. Sounds a bit like metal being getting bent and a little worrying.
  11. Thanks for the reply guys, I've passed the MOT without the cats before, just had to give her a good blast before she went in. I'll check with Tarmac n Zmanalex to see what they got.

  13. Hi everyone, With the new MOT rules in I'm pretty sure my decat pipes will fail me! I bought the car that way... Is there any point in me trying to find a pair of used OEM one's or get a pair of HFCs? Thanks for any replies regarding this
