Im not taking the mick, but the post you quoted I clearly said I am not worried about low MPG?

I was worried the car won't get up to full temp and things will slowly start going wrong!

I was just pondering, I am gearing up to join the Z club and want to make sure it is a good choice.

At the moment, I have a 5 mile commute so low MPG isn't a problem, but I worry that the car will suffer from the short journeys.

Anyone tested on and off to see if there is a difference?

Does anyone run aircon all year around? I was just wondering that since the engine is so large, the strain of the aircon compressor can't be that great.

Anyone know what effect aircon has on mpg?

I think it makes the Z look more agile and purposeful from the front.

The current grill is a bit bulky, a big square hole, this is a bit more sleek.

I think it just looks good, its not going to magically be a GTR.

If the GTR didn't exist I think it would be perfect.

Second option is just to smooth the front bumper, why do nissan have to indent the badge!

Yeh that would be good for conductivity, the problem would still be totally enclosed in metal the signal wouldn't work.

Basically I am thinking of the GTR style key with a space for a transponder near the front but with the Z logo. Need to talk about how to easily make the cavity without it adding too much expense.

Yeh I was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge of whether an all metal key would act as a Faraday cage?

So the NATS chip has to be up close to the barrel to work, I can get the GTR style key water-jetted, the hard part will be where to put the chip. Would it work in a solid metal casing?

What are the smallest wheels we can fit so that the winter tyres are cheap? I was thinking of getting Rays, but 18" rubber is a bit more expensive than 17 etc.

How about just a new key cut, and then just take out the blade from the old key, leaving a small box as required?

How close does it need to be?

In terms of circuit boards etc I can get them fabricated quite easily.

So I want a different key for the Z, but not the rubbish flip from eBay.

I want a single solid blade style key and then have the rest of the blipper on the key ring in a separate unit.
