Ok car has two codes p1124 and p2135 but isn't in limp mode anymore. Car running but only half of the electrics working no wipers no indicators but I have lights although no rev counter and the speedo is jumping up and down. Got the car home reset the ecu and it's working perfect. Any ideas would be welcome??

Yes I know it now had to check a fuse last year in it. Think the best way forward it to try and get the error code tomorrow. Thanks for the help. Oh and yes I disconnected the battery for a few mins to reset the ecu so it's ok

Started my 05 std car today and the engine light came on. Drove on this with no noticeable problem. Stopped the car and restarted and the car drove ok on the edc and traction control slid light was on as I was driving I noticed that I had no wipers or other lights working on the dash the fan was working but not the rear de mister. I then stopped the car and when I restarted it is now in limp mode with all the brake lights on (4 of them). Oh and when I unlocked the car earlier the rear wiper came on???? Anyone any ideas please????

thanks - I have the upgraded drop links installed and its only off the lift - the guys cant find anytihng wrong! - they said that there was a little play in the end of the arm? but drive on! - the knocking is driving me mad I need to sort it - in your expierence do you think it sounds like the bushings? if so should i change both sides?

I have a knocking coming from the front drivers side when going over a bumpy road - I done the search and it stops when I brake is it safe to assume its worn ball joints in the compression arms?? if so can I just buy these or its it a whole arm?? Cheers

yes all fuses check even in the box behind the battery!

Changed my headunit and used the correct harness and have ended up with no sidelights - I done a search and read that there is a wire dor dimming the original radio when the lights are on - any help would be welcome - thanks

its a 2005 with 90,000miles and is due a service now - it has a full Nissan history but it doesn't mention that the gear box oil was ever changed - I think the best course is to change the gear oil and the diff oil? do you know what miles these are meant to be changed?? thanks for the help

Anyone help with this whine - i never really noticed it before a friend got into the car and mentioned it to me - could the diff oil possibly need changed - car has 89,000 miles and a full service history but i don't think this was ever changed - i had it since 66,000 2 years and i haven't changed it - any ideas welcome? My exhaust has developed a sound like there's a blow out. Took it to the garage and got it on the ramp hey no hole! They blocked up the pips to add preasure to see if there was a leak anywhere but no the sound seems to be coming out the passenger pipe. They rhink the back box is gone? What do yous think as I like the stock sound??

Before you say I have done "lots" of searches and listened to lots of media clips but you cant beat real "ears", I love the sound of my standard exhaust and now I have a hole in the back box! - Im not buying a direct replacment from some local exhaust centre as it will be shite and Im not paying Nissan for an OEM - anyone reccomend a good aftermarket replacment that looks and sounds similar and that I wouldnt have to sell a child for????> Thanks Colin

I have this too!, would love to know what it was, I noticed if I have my foot resting on the clutch (not pressed) I have "feel" the clunk also!, its coming somewhere from the back of the engine low down, and it stops when the revs are slightly higher - like when the a/c is on, its now starting to drive me mad coz I notice it even more, any one any ideas??

Found this on you tube and mine is exactly the same, it clicks when warm like this, if your in the car you can "feel" the clicking in the clutch if your foot is just resting on it, cars runs great with no problems but its very anoying, any ideas? Cheers

Im looking for the drivers side plastic bit that has the window control in if its not too scraped??

When the car is in neutral there is a random click coming I think from the gearbox. It goes when you put the clutch down and you can feel it in the clutch when you just touch it but not when it finally pressed and ideas???

When I start the car from cold for the first second I can hear what I think is a camshaft noise until the car gets oil on to them. First question is this common and someone said if you use magnatec this would happen as the oil would stick to the cams??

Got the error code for the Heated o2 sensor 2 - done my searches etc and found that this is the sensor after the cat - anyone come across a simple fix for this or have I got to buy a new one - I wipe the code but after a few days (or sometimes weeks) it comes back on - it seems to happy when there is really bad rain???? - dones anyone know where to get one (except nissan) if its a nissan part only is it expensive?? Cheers

The spinning wheels with the belts on the front of the engine seems to be creating a noise, its a spinning noice but is anoying - it make the engine sound shite!, can you spray oil on these wheel?, will it help?, any ideas how to make these any quiter - sometimes you cant hear them at all!
