  1. Today at about 12:10pm - anyone from here??
  2. Always thought straddling couldn't be good for the car - nice to see some confirmation! Why does it always have to be that the most awkward route is always the best
  3. Sorry to hear that mate. Guess I now have a definite answer as to straddling those speed bumps Good luck with the bumper!
  4. Oh yeah - I know the road. So you reckon the Zed can get away with straddling those speed bumps that are split into 3 squares? Or do you need to ride the wheels over the top of them?
  5. Ahh that's good then. I live quite close to Putney so have the same sort of speed bump density that I expect you had! Thanks for your replies
  6. Since I am about to get a Z and am unfortunate enough to live in an area with a f-load of speed bumps, I was just wondering if you have to go hideously slowly over speed bumps or not. On a stock 350, so not lowered. But just don't want to find out the hard way that I'm going too fast
  7. Based in Surrey - I believe there are quite a few members from this area?
  8. Sadly no pics yet but will say what I know. Known Specs: FairladyZ Version T +extras with 16k miles Colour: Gunmetal Transmission: Automatic (which I know may tame it a bit but given my novice driving experience this could be a good thing ) HIDs, 18" alloys, black leather seats, BOSE sound system - the usual. Only thing it really lacks is the Brembos But not bad for under £6.1k!
  9. Greetings all! Just introducing myself - soon to be a Z owner - hopefully seeing her tomorrow and then just need to get registration and whatnot sorted since it's a JDM. Very excited though also a bit nervous since it's gonna be a bit of a step up from my 1.6 Golf! But yeah, hi all! Tom
  10. So it shouldn't suffer like the US 03 Z's which had this (http://www.nissantireproblems.com/) recognised issue? thanks for the feedback! Also if anyone knows whether the stock 03 Version T had 17 or 18 inch alloys it would be much appreciated - too impatient to hear back from the guy I'm getting the car off
  11. I am hopefully getting an 03 350z next week. Only 16k on the clock (has been off the road for the last 4 years since being imported) and was just wondering whether this infamous issue of tyre feathering/wear is something that affects the Japanese 350z's since most of the complaints of it seem to be coming from the US... And if so, since it is now 8 years on, was there a definite fix for it? Since everything I've read has simply been speculative suggestions to change tyre manufacturer and adjust wheel alignment. Cheers
