Ideal, cheers for the responses. I've checked and it is just the heat shields luckily. I had ordered high flow cats aswel after looking under the car in the dark. Now got a refund before they had sent them luckily. And yes the exhaust is standard, im sure of it. There are pictures in my profile I believe. Thanks

Yo! Does anybody know where the best place is to get hold of a spare key without paying stupid money? Also, are there any Z owners on this forum from Cornwall other than myself?

Hi. I've just noticed that both my cat converters have holes in them surrounded by rust. Through some of the holes you can see the wire stuff just about. I have no fault lights on on the dash. Just wondering whether or not these need replacing or are they still ok to use, if so how long are we talking until they should be replaced. Also just out of interest, does anybody know the size of the standard tailpipes, just wondering whether the exhaust is standard. Just got the car you see. 2004 350z.
Thanks
Steve

UPREV
in Performance
Hello there. I've had a little search but cant find any decent info. Could somebody please explain to me exactly what an UpRev is? Some sort of remap I'm guessing. Could you also outline any pros and cons, where its available, power increases and prices etc? Any info would be helpful.
Thanks in advance,
Steve

Some great responses there, thanks. So is there anything wrong with going for a custom built one then? Is it not better to have one specifically to suit the car or will any custom built system improve performance? What do you think would be wrong with this one, just out of interest? http://www.toyosports.co.uk/nissan-350z ... -662-p.asp

Hi. Just noticed both my catalytic converters have holes in them and the car is still on stock exhaust system therefore I would like to upgrade the lot but for as low a cost as possible. So long as it looks better, sounds better and doesnt perform any worse. Can anybody recommend the best parts or suppliers to use for value for money. Cheap but half decent, preferably larger tailpipes etc
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks Steve

Hi. I've just got my hands on a 54plate 350z GT with Aero kit. Just got a few questions. It hasnt been serviced for a while so just wondering what the big P3 service consists of? Also, where is the best place to get hold of the Metallic grey touch up paint? Does anybody know the code for this. What should the oil pressure gauge be reading roughly? Also, what oil is best recommended for them? Any information would be so helpful. Also, what should the gear change light be set at?
Regards Steve
Il get some pictures up soon
P.S, how do I order club stickers?

Really 29mpg? Well thats better than I expected. Slightly more than the s3 would you believe. Sounds like I cant go wrong then. No problems picking up a 100k+ miles one then? Il have a good read. Thanks for the warm welcome

Hi there everyone. I currently have an Audi S3, however I have decided that the Japanese cars I have owned have always been the most reliable, therefore I will be selling the S3 and purchasing a 350z in the very near future. I'd just like as much info on what to look out for and what to go for when purchasing as I currently have little or no knowledge on the 350z. Are running costs much higher than other Japanese cars in general? Any age or model spec I should avoid? Any dangerous mileage limits for cost etc? Any help and advise would be great. Thanks very much. Steve
