  1. Cheers for the replies. I can fully appreciate what you're saying and I would normally say the exact same thing to anybody, however I've knocked a lot of money off due to these issues and I have the full story behind why it hasn't been looked after cosmetically. Its had all its services etc. The chap selling it has been so honest with everything which means I know there are no secrets. Its only cosmetic issues which I feel can be sorted and he's accepted £11k which I think is pretty fair considering. The bits highlighted are literally the only issues with the car.

Are these small rust issues common on the 370z where its been stone chipped or not? I've never known it on the 350.

  2. I've just fitted a new storage compartment lid in the dash & it's a little fiddly but generally straightforward, there are a couple of videos on You Tube which show you how to remove a radio & these are very good for giving you the method needed for removing the compartment lid (you don't need to go as far as removing the radio). Just search removing the radio on a Nissan 370z & a couple will come up, one is for a 2009 car but the method is the same for a 2010 model & the 2nd one is done by a guy with a bag over his head (yes really - just to show how easy it is) both are good & only take approx. 5 mins each so you can watch both to make sure that you've got the method clear. The new lid is quite expensive, it comes as a complete unit with the rest of the storage pod, you can't get them separately. I got mine from the dealership & it came to £157. Once you've got the front cover off you should find that the storage compartment is screwed in place & also has a couple of lugs which fit behind the air vent units, you obviously have to undo all the screws (self tappers) & you will need to take off one of the air vents, they have moulded in clips & are a bit of a pain to remove but with a bit of care they will come off & refitting them is just a matter of pushing them back into place until the clips re-engage. Once that's done the old storage pod will literally fall out & the new one will go back in within a few minutes.

Thanks Taff (and thanks for the useful reply fatrab) but I should have been more clear re the storage compartment lid. Its the one in between the two seats where the arm rest would be. You can see in the photo that its damaged. Any idea on replacing this / sourcing a new one?

    Cheers

  3. Hi everybody. I'm looking to collect a 370z on Monday. I've previously owned a couple of 350z's and don't know a huge amount about the 370z, ie common problems to look out for etc. This one isn't a complete minter however the price does reflect that. It's HPI clear and one owner from new which is something.

I'll be travelling 300miles to collect it so I would like to know what sort of things I can look out for and also how easily available replacement parts are such as the central storage compartment lid and the lower gear stick surround. It also has a couple of old stone chips which have began to bubble, is this normal as my 350z's never had this problem. I'll attached photos for you to see.

If anybody could advise me on whether these parts are easily available to replace, what else I should be looking out for on an 2010 80k mile 370z. Also what the best and most cost effective modifications are would be handy to know. Ie which air filters, which exhausts etc for gains and sound.

Thank you very much in advance and sorry if its all been covered previously but I'm not a good searcher.

  4. Unfortunately I'm having to offer my lovely 350z GT 300 for sale due to a property investment.

This is the second 350z I've owned. This truly is a lovely car throughout. As soon as I have enough capital again towards the end of 2013/early 2014 I will be sure to purchase another 300 revup as I believe they are fantastic value for money.

    The car:

2006 UK Nissan 350z Gunmetal Grey facelift 300bhp revup GT model.

    - Standard Bose sound system (all speakers working etc)

    - Black heated leather interior (perfect condition)

    - Standard Rays 18" wheels

    - Full cat back stainless steel true dual exhaust system with lifetime guarantee. Only 3 months old.

    - S2000 stubby aerial.

    - New EBC grooved brake discs front and back.

    - EBC Yellow stuff brake pads front and back.

    - K&N panel filter in original MY06 airbox.

    - Genuine 350z cargo net.

    - Genuine 350z floor mats & boot mat.

    - Bluetooth hands free (all working).

    - New Falken fk452 tyres x 4.

    - Folding wing mirrors.

    - Traction control.

    - Limited slip differential.

    - Cruise control.

    - Bi Xenon HID headlights.

    - LED tail lights.

    - Rear parking sensors.

    - HPI clear

This car is a genuinely superb example of the 300 revup. It does not burn oil and returns good MPG compared with my previous 350z. It's recently had a full service and spark plugs changed. It has full service history in the original leather wallet along with the spare key. Long tax and mot. Very good condition throughout. Car has covered 90,000 motorway miles, has been enthusiast owned and looked after to a very high standard from new. I will genuinely be very sorry to see her go.

I'm asking £6299 for a very sharp sale. Unbelievable bargain for what it is.

I'm sure I will have missed lots of detail out so please don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions or for more photos. The car is in Cornwall.
