  1. I think GAME were selling it with four hours double XP, so that may be the reason they are at that level already.

I have a mate on XBL who has maximum gamer score on the first 2. I'm watching to see how long it takes him.

Personaly, I'm all for BF games. PC for me too!

  2. My mate has bought the 40" samsung 3D led Smart TV, and on the strength of what I've seen with that, I'll be going for the 55 inch job. Read good things about it, and the picture quality is excellent!

The 3D isn't really that big an issue for me, though some of the demo stuff I've seen is extremely cool. What they don't tell you is your probably gonna have to hike out another 100 quid for decent glasses, as I think Toshiba are the only company knocking out the passive 3D at the moment.

There's a'lot out there for sure, but I guess its all down to what your gonna be using it for. Movies, TV or gaming?

  3. Holy crap, I bought a new laptop a few months ago, as mine was hanging at boot up with dodgy pixels.

Was gonna rip the hardrive out and smash it up. Might aswell give this a shot first!

Thanks for starting the post mate.:thumbs:

Is yours a Dell? Like i said i pre-heated the oven to 200 degrees and placed the card on four silver foil balls positioned where the screws would go. Placed it on a baking tray and kept it in there for exactly 9 minutes (did it on my phone stop-watch) :)

When the 9 minutes was up i quickly switched the oven off and opened the door then left it for a minutes allowing it to cool a little, then gently lifted the tray out all together and left it to cool down naturally.

    Guide to dismantling here ;)

Nah, its an HP mate. Same fault though, and was gonna smash and chuck it, so nothing to lose by trying I guess!

Give's my dad a new toy to play with at least!

  4. I know stephen brooks from the beeb, worked with him on Question of Sport. His vids are very good

Just watched the 2011 mix. It does look quite "Top Geary..." That's meant as a compliment too!

  5. Same here. I traded mine in for the 370. Handling a bit soul'less If I'm honest, rear vis is better in a transit van, ride was a tad firm, very common on the road, and liked a drink of oil. That said, excellent load space, very frugal (even with a heavy foot, I didnt go below 45mpg, and on the motorway wasn't a kick in the ass of 60). I had the EX spec, and it had loads of toys and felt more roomy with the glass roof, and in the 18 months I had it, it didn't put a foot wrong!

I spend alot of time cleaning and detailing the Zed, and that poor thing was lucky if it got put through an automatic washer. I just wasn't feeling it!

  6. Yeah, I saw them and had a "rub chin" moment. Might be an idea.

However the largest size they had was large, and apparently 19" wheels, are XXL, which they didnt have in stock!

    19" is XXL? :scare:

May pop back down to see if there are any left that will fit my 18's...

Thats what the guy in ASDA said mate. Might want to double check it when you get there. He did look like the gene pool hadn't been kind!
