  1. Welcome. Mine should be within your budget ;)

MPG, mine is around 25/26 average, 20 for town. Lower tax band (£240) if it's an 06 or older (I think).

Service costs, my last one was £350 iirc, including Spark Plugs. That was a P2, next is a P1 (so cheaper).

Just make sure it has a full service history, this engines are pretty bulletproof. And go for a GT, they have the goodies.

  2. Just googled it....my surely not comment was a bit pointless.

    £105 to fill up...ouch!

How many miles did you all get to your last full tank?

I've never run out, but I typically put £85 in to fill it, which gets me about 330 miles.

My OBC is showing an average MPG since August last year, of 26.8 mpg.

  3. Not DoogyRev's. It's a stock 04 Silver GT, actually bought it from a local sports car specialist. 68k on the clock, FNSH, full MOT, tax and recent service. Comes with a 12m full warranty from the garage itself (I've checked the fine print). I've persuaded them to refurb the alloys and touch up any blemishes in the paint work included within the negotiated price of £6,800. I think (hope) I've done alright, but I'm sure you lot will tell me otherwise and there's only a £100 retainer on it so can walk away if needs be.

Sounds like a great deal, especially from a dealer.

    Link?

  4. Welcome.

    Thanks again guys,

what is the MPG like on them, in the scoob £80 does me about 300 miles, if going steady or about 220 with spirited driving lol. also does the Z need v power, mpg is not a concern otherwise I would be looking at vw blue motion, just wondered if there are comparable.

You should see a few extra miles on £80. 25/27 mpg average.
