Hi.
Well I took the car to a body shop today. Took him around the car showing exactly what I wanted:
touch up on curbed front wheels
respray of bonnet
touch up on deep scratch on the bumper (mot test drive must have hit something :S)
fitment of nismo spats and sprayed
touch up of deep, tcutted scratch next to 350z badge
Had a lovely email:
£876.90 !!!!!!! with £620 just for labour !!
The 350z badge which he said would be replaced was quoted at £48 :S
Therefore could someone recommend a body shop in my area; Northampton, Peterborough, Bedford

Hi
I recently got hold of the halfords buffer, works fine etc but today it was so hard to get the polish off after it had dried and the buffing mitt just had no effect. I ended up having to go over by hand, took absolutely ages to work it off. Any recommendations, is there a solution I should apply on the buffer wheel to aid in removing residue ?
Washed the two Nissan's though only polished and wax'd the 350z:

Only two downsides.
HKS service & support is now restricted as the American outfit has been closed down, so any issues it's direct to Japan.
I used to work for HKS, support is fine as one of the guys speaks Japanese so if problems they contact hks japan.

Hi.
I have never seen this on the forum, probably some know about it:
Many 350z's suffer the same fate mine did. It usually starts when it starts getting cold; you would hit the trunk release, and it would pop, but would still be caught, requiring a second press of the release, or worse, a slight lift up and then hitting the release again. Usually this starts out intermittent, and gets worse over time. The dealer even replaced my struts, and the problem returned within a year. Nissan finally issued a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) over the problem, NTB04042, which instructs the dealer to replace the lifting springs. This DIY fix works just as well, and saves you a trip to the dealership.

I have just tried it and it works perfectly. I used 2x 1p on each with a bit of blue tac just to keep them together.

That is very cheap, cheers. After I get the rear stuff sorted I shall take you up on that lovely offer.
The spoiler isnt strosek. I believe there to be only one club member with it installed, Sam Mcgoo
I may have photoshop'd the spoiler a bit big :S

Hi all.
So the plan for the rear, want something sutterly modded; photoshop'd spoiler and merged spats.
I have been looking to get hold of:
- Spoiler (http://www.spoilerdepot.com/spoilers/20 ... tem-02134/)
- Nismo V2 spats
Also other parts:
- Carbon Center Console, for 2003 interior.
- Carbon fibre wing mirrors
- Stone chip repair paint
- Prefacelift Carbon Cover Lip
Reason I started a thread is because I cant seem to find UK sources for most of these and idealy I dont want to buy from abroad.
Thanks

Hi
I found my car today with the drivers side light washer fully out, passenger closed. The car has been parked up for sometime and Im sure it wasnt like this earlier in the morning. Has it been vandalised or possible electrical fault. I just pushed it back in.
How do i engage the light washers btw, so i can check its still working ?
Thanks
