Been keeping an eye on values for the past couple of years, I think the 981 (particularly GTS) is just so good it wont lose much, if anything. I think GT4s will suffer a bit as they were always a little artificially high priced and the 718 has sorted the gear length thing but low mileage GTS Caymans (and Boxsters, theres only 170 of them or something stupid) wont ever lose and will start climbing again fairly soon.

The car in the link supports it (I wrote the post first!), that car is 6 years old and about the same as it sold for new.

Agree. Lost about 7-8k on mine in a year. However I expect them to settle and or pick back up over the next few years. The 718 just doesn't compare in terms of noise and theatre and wasn't limited run. But I didn't buy it as an investment as they never will be!

If I was looking for something other than a GT4 id be all over the GTS if that is doable OP?

  2. Gents, I have spotted a bulge on the tyre wall on the front left tyre on my M240i. The tyres have covered less than 5k miles and i'd prefer not to have to swap them all, even the front two. They're MPSS's and I know you can't get them anymore

Could I get away with swapping the damaged tyre onto a pilot sport 4, or do i HAVE to swap both on the front axle?

I have just returned to a 370 from a remapped A45. I'll do a separate post, but the bottom line is that I found the '45 a bit sterile, despite it being streets ahead of the Z performance wise, and I found that I missed driving a manual.

    tell us more!!!

Really disappointed with the after sale attitude.

Been in and out of hospital a lot this year with melanoma and recurring hypokalemia, so earnings have been down.

Pleaded for a 2 week extension on payment. You guys would not budge. 48hr max.

Cancelled insurance. Cancellation fee just shy of £500, when there was no where near that left on the policy. Gave me 7 days to pay it. Stitched right up.

    Thanks.

sorry to hear this! terrible service. I wont be using them any time soon!
