Alright guys had a little look this evening and found when I press the cubby button it worked again and the cd player showed AUX for auxillary I imagine again tried a couple times after and nothing no movement from them cubby door or the cd player not switching to AUX??

Might have to get into halfrauds or somewhere , wish they was more zed drivers in Hull!

If motor has died I'm guessing most likely I won't be able to fix it or replace??

Was going to get another uk nissans DVD drive to hook it upto

It's look pretty standard and hides the jap sat nav, doesn't look aftermarket.

Can you pics of the double din unit please as I might be interested in it if the other op isn't.

My motorised cubby door has decided to stop working then sometimes it's works, has anyone else found this and fixed it? It's like something's getting stuck behind the cubby??

I currently have about 1.5 cm left of a snapped aerial on the zed, i've tried some long nose pliers but to no avail

Have you guys got any ideas how to get it out?

and sourced a nissan almera sat nav drive currently on ebay for 99p!!!

Also has anyone who has the JDM sat nav had problems with sliding cover not working when the button is pressed mine seems to be working intermintaly?

How do I got about regassing my boot struts, on paulies custard zed they retro fitted a nismo spoiler which is quite heavy and the struts arent strong enough, I've tried the penny trick but no joy.

How easy are the new struts to fit also?

Picked up Paulies ultra yellow zed yesterday and was surprised when she showed me the jap sat nav as didnt think it had one!!

I know the conversion costs a bomb but I've seen a few threads where people have changed the dvd rom unit behind the drivers seat with another nissan one and the sat nav as started working, and I believe you can also get the translated stickers for the buttons also????? As I would like to give this a try and is it looks pretty cool, can it play dvds also???

PS what do I need to do the get the radio to read above 94mhz also and would the TV option ever work also on sat nav too.

Picking my zed tomoro cant wait!!!

Im a big fan of my 1200 song collection on my iphone 4 and sick of burning aucio cds and then glove box been full of cds,what are the best options for me to connect my iphone/ipod to the current stereo set up as Im not a big fan of buying aftermarket stereo systems (like to keep things stock )

Think I'd just be wanting the leather seats with the electric function, steering wheel doesnt look like they will be any point as would have to fit cruise etc

Very true coldel, I've been speaking to relentless and paulie about there zeds on here which are a lot more appealing.

Really want a gt now tho and suppose buying a car than having to shell out extras out, plus why makes me think if I owned a car with dodgy alloy wheel I want to sort it ASAP, he didn't mention that in the advert also???
