Have not read all the posts but i had a MK2 172 before my 350 and i will say the 2 cars are completely different. It depends on your driving style which you would truely prefer. For day to day driving i really prefer the zed, the sound and feel of the bigger car makes it seem as you are going faster than you really are. There is never a need to rev the bollocks of it to get the fun out of it. On the twisties tho you cant beat the clio, they handle like go karts and are very responsive, the 350 is no sloutch tho you just cant chuck it into a corner like the clio and expect it to come out the other side. I have never regretted the switch, imo the 350z is a much superior car and im sure you wont be dissapointed, just go easy if its your first rear wheel car until you are more comfortable.

Im not going down that route at the moment Chris. I did get some quotes which i was very happy with but its a awful lot of work stripping the car any further than i have gone. I am however getting the seats re-trimmed, i did toy with the idea of Nismo carboard seats but they wrerent very comfortable Im doing a few other bits as well which i will post some updated pics when i get some, just wanted to keep a progress thread really and i like to keep people guessing

I spy a Nismo box.....but is there Nismo goodies inside, or is it merely a convenient box for someone to ship stuff in....

 

Gotta be a convenient box. Its too big for any Nismo interior accessories & too small for any other Nismo things.

Yes Ian your decetive skills are very good, its just a convenient box, supplied by the zmanalex. The box actually has nothing to do with whats happening in the car just a place for it to sit.

Maybe a bargain for Nissan own brand stuff but i think i paid about the same for superior stuff from Opie Oils last time i did mine.

Hope you get better mate. As others have said it could of been worse. About 10 years ago my mate was in his garage in front of his car and had the bonnet up. He wanted to check some pressure gauge under is bonnet for his turbo or something and started his car using the remote start facility on his 2K clifford alarm system. Unfortunately the car wasnt clever enough to realise it was in 1st gear and the car leapt forward crushing him and breaking both his legs. how we laughed for years after

Ah... ive got one of those in the freezer ready to try. I actually was speaking to my brother about pies yesterday and he also recommended that one - he had a freezer full of them! (must run in the family!).
