  1. thank you for your ongoing info.

Just popped to the nissan garage at lunch (just to have a look around a free-fiddy-zee. But they didn't have any in. Had a chat with a saleman though. Sort of helpful but was definately trying to prise me away from the 350z and try the older jap cars (skylines, silvias and supras. and EVEN the 225 or 3.2 TTs).

Not sure what to think now until i've actually had a sit and drive of a 350. He did agree though, massive road presance, mint noise ect...

  2. I've been looking around at getting a 350z. But models without heated seats are few and far between!

Is there a certain spec car without them?

I would much prefer to find a car with cotten seats (rather than leather) and not heated. As i won't use them anyway.

    any advice?

  3. It's a y-pipe back system. Consists of mid pipe and rear box

Search for a thread about " met a noisy member tonight" there's a video of my scorpion exhaust with decats and nismo y-pipe and nismo r-tune and plenum spacer. It's a bit deeper in real life but I will honestly say, even if it wasn't mines I'd still love it. Now another member ehh hmm cragus  loves it so much he's going for a similar set up B)

Im going to keep the cats. So i was kind of hoping this would be the sound it gives with them still in?

  4. Ahhh i've had a look in the exhaust thread leading to 350z-tech site with lots of exhaust stuff. The Y is more illabourate than i was picturing in my mind. and i also noticed theres a fujabitsu (funny spelling so probs wrong) i used to want this make exhaust on my yaris T-sport. Are they a popular choice?

  5. So you put Ypeice onto the manifolds then you either have the option to put a single sports cat on or just extend to exhaust to leave decat? Or can you re-use the standard cats and keep a performance gain?

 Have a wee read of the exhaust sub forum

As Neil says the Scorpion is perhaps good value for money but most would query its longevity.

You do see most gain from upgrading the Y-Pipe and decats - but nowt without a remap

Welcome to the forum BTW

Thanks, im new to anything more than a 4pot. so things are so famiar to me.

Can you easily bolt in and out cats when it comes to MOT or more hassle than its worth?
