Just looking for more info about the issues with zed I'm having.
Release bearing went so decided to change clutch and dual mass fly wheel at the same time..
Luk flywheel and exceed organic clutch,release bearing all brand new .
Getting juddering when moving off. Struggling to get into first sometimes. And if depress pedal
really quickly the pedal will stick then clunk back up.
After searching a bit it could be
air needing bled.
master or slave cylinder.
Dodgy flywheel?
plate issues
just looking for other possibilities that someone on here has already been through.

Recorded the noise. Getting a bumping like feedback on pedal too. Was the spigot bush sounding like this?:

welll something is up not sure what trying to get an idea of what might be wrong.
clutch pedal in mornings started to make whiny noises when changing gear but after 10 mins it goes away this started happening a few days ago.
now sitting at idle normal ticking over noises, but when i press the clutch in im getting squeaking belt noise, grinding a bit, the engine dips in revs, sound like a bag of spanners.
clutch on way out? maybe something else that's attached to pulleys?

strange noise just started with my zed over the weekend. had the car for a while and sitting idle yeah it wasn't the quietest but as i had read it's normal. But now it's definitely making new noise, slow speeds dipping clutch and changing gear, getting this noise that's like a syncro robotic arm coming to a stop kinda noise , if that makes any sense at all. high pitch fast noise which then quickly stops and goes away until you change gear gear of dip clutch quickly..... any idea what this is? do i need to open a new thread?

can confirm that galaxy s5 with lollipop doesn't work still same issue. Connects and pairs for 15 seconds then drops. I have zed bluetooth working with bb z30 and iphone 5c. I also had it working with galaxy s3 but it was a custom rom omega on 4.1.2 jb. But even on 4.3 never worked only 4.1.2. very frustrating

I will do thanks. I read the brake sticky and it mentioned that too,you can't see the inside pads without taking them out. Hopefully it is them and nothing else more sinister.

I have done some searching but just wanted someone to say yeah its that.
Wheels squealing/squeaking on a rotational point gets quicker up to around 35-40 mph
Then disappears. But when it is making a sound, pressing the brakes makes it go away.does this mean pads? I have looked and there seems to be meat left on most. But I mmay not be looking closely enough.

Hate having to do this but i'm going to have to pull out of the drive. Coming in with jet lag then driving about tired is probably not the best idea. Poor excuse i know but i'll be there next time.

Thread revival ...
Just want to check with others what's happened to me this week. Driver Window motor was refurbished last year by myself had no issues fast movement. But twice this week it has just stopped working luckily in closed position. No slowness at all still very fast up and down. First time I decided to strip it down to refurb again. Got to the point where you have to move the window down for the 3 bolts. Clipped the white connectors back in window started working again, strong as ever. So put itback together,then 2 days later same again nothing, not even with a nudge will it go down.
Is this still the motor or something else?

m12 x 1.25 shown here, ebays ones are m14 x 1.5, but the same seller does m12 x 1.25, which is the correct size for zed isn't it?

Anyone had experience with these on a zed? Decent enough?
Edit: it's ok found some reviews and 350z-uk intro page for mtec. Also found the same disc's on eBay delivered for 129.99

I was going to answer that but i was expecting the klaxon/sirens to go as in the QI show, as the answers given by KyleR was what i was thinking, BHP+, Weight-, Noise+
But what i want to know is when did d cats become so expsensive?

yeah how soon is soon? fitting plenum spacer this weekend and will need a remap at some point..

Just looking to verify something. I fitted cookbots folding mirror mod back in 2011.
But recently just got car back from garage and now it doesn't work. But instead the mirrors opening and close with a turn of the ignition key on and off. Were the zed's always able to do this i can't remember?
Just wanted to know before checking the fuse and cabling of the mod.
