    Cheers for the replies guys, no offence taken :)

     

    As you can see from Madden's post back in Dec 2009, he had it up for £10k, with 25k miles.

    Jez bought that, then I bought it from him + extra mods for in early 2011 for £9k with 31k miles.

     

    Now its on just 35k miles.

     

    Also I notice this Cat-D un-repaired car sold for just over £5k, so mine must be somewhere in the middle right?

    However - as I say I am willing to take offers on this - even if its quite a lot less than my asking price. I'd just rather be knocked-down from around my asking price, rather than putting it for silly-cheap then getting even further knocked down! :lol:

    Bumping this for sale again. Regretfully need to sell this lovely car now as I will be moving house/flat soon and need the money to help me do it.

     

    MOT till Feb, Tax 5 months.

    Thanks for the replies everyone. After I posted it I tried another thing - I had the car unlocked, then opened each door and locked it from the inside (using the little lever next to the handle) and closed the door. That seemed to have worked and didn't go off again all night.

     

    This morning I have found & disconnected the alarm unit in the boot. Never knew it was located there, thanks for that B)

     

    For now as well, I've also disconnected the sensors in the roof. Re-locked the car with the fob and so far all is good.

     

    Obviously this isn't an ideal solution because the alarm is basically useless now, but at least it won't be keeping me up all night until I can source & fix properly!!

    Hey guys,

     

    My alarm has suddenly started going off on its own over the course of this evening. Started at about 6pm, thought it was strange so just re-locked it with the fob and thought nothing more.

     

    Went for a drive, about 40-mile round trip, all good. Got back home, then a couple hours after being home, alarm goes off again. I re-lock it again with the fob and it stops.

     

    20 mins later, off again :( Neighbours must be getting annoyed.

     

    I've done some searching for disabling the alarm, everything I've tried doesn't seem to work. Its now 2am and its still randomly going off every 15-20 mins!!

     

    I've tried..

     

    - Lock with the key in the door - alarm went off shortly after.

    - Disconnected bonnet sensor - alarm went off shortly after.

    - DOUBLE checked for moths/spiders, can't find anything.

     

    I've looked through the owners manual, can't find anything about the alarm at all in there?

     

    Done about 45 mins of Google searching trying to find a way of just disabling the alarm all together? I would like to know how - even as a temporary fix!?

     

    Arghh, driving me nuts now.

    Currently have performance Friction 01 pads and they're too brutal for me :lol: been meaning to replace them for ages now!

     

    Standard brakes will be fine for me :) Also thinking about perhaps replacing the discs too, as they might be worn. Wondering which ones are stock OEM replacements? And best place to buy all this from?

    Tarmac - thanks for getting back to me, that's cool but way too much for me, sorry.

     

    Lukebrown - cheers dude, seen that one already but again, a little too steep (good price for CF though) and too big on the edges, if you know what I mean.

     

    Good news though, got an email back from EP Racing and I'm informed the FRP "VS lip" will be available late next month!! :yahoo::yahoo:

    Tempted to swap to the JDM rear bumper, just wondered if anyone happened to want to swap their import model rear bumper to my UK one? B)

     

    I've read a bit and it seems its an easy enough swap over. I've also come to realise people with import cars seem to prefer UK rear bumpers, and visa-versa. :lol:

     

    Anyway, PM if you're up for it. Or, if you've got a spare JDM bumper lying about :blush:

    Had a search for the Varis lip but don't really like that, I find the edges are bit too wide, the Veilside one above is literally perfect - the width of it is even the whole way round and tapers off nicely.

     

    I notice EP Racing do a CF copy, but at £300 its a bit steep. And I don't really want to pay out "just because its CF". FRP would be ideal for what I want B)

    I might have a K2 for sale shortly, it'll be very cheap since, IMO, its crap. Rattles quite badly and fitment is poor.

     

    I'm getting a custom made exhaust soon, and if we don't hack the K2 to bits making a custom one, then you can have it if you collect! ;)
