depends what your buying it for?
for me the Z is a weekend toy, fun in the sun and something special for now and again use so it had to be a roadster as when that roof is down
but if its a daily driver... i guess i would still have gone for the roadster but i can see more of a reason to have the coupe.
at the end of the day its your choice and its gonna be whichever one you prefer

my roadster is back from Abbey today and i am very happy with the results!!!!!!!
not driven the car myself as the wife took the car down there while i was at work and have only just got home but just looking at the dyno results tells me im gonna love it!
car used to make 258.8Hp (at the hub) at 6293rpm and now makes 271Hp at the same revs but the real story is in the torque
used to have a peak torque figure of 235.3lbft at 4960rpm and now peaks at 242lbft at the same revs but the real story is that it now makes more torque at 2500 rpm than it used to make peak!
ok not huge number gains but its not all about the numbers. i just know that the new torque curve is gonna feel great! that together with the removal of the first three gear restrictions and i cant wait for the weekend!!
cheers Mark and all at Abbey

Nice to see another roadster owner. Does your roof fully open in colder temps, or does it get stuck just before it enters the boot?
well only had the car just over a week now so not really opened the roof much what with the weather although i understand the cold does have a habit of stopping the roof opening fully.
have to say its a joy to drive the Z
not been out much mind you with work getting in the way but she is off to Abbey tomorrow for filter, plenum and Uprev
looking forward to a bit of warmer weather to get out and enjoy her with the roof down to really hear that exhaust!

ok ok i guess i should have done the search + advanced search first... OEM coupe spoiler doesnt fit...
like the look of the small boot lip spoiler though so if anyone has any recommendations as to where to get one that WILL fit...
-
thought i read somewhere that it does..... i could very easily be wrong though
-
guess i could get one sprayed to match but if there is one out there already in azure would save some bother.... roadster should come with one as standard if you ask me
anyone?
-
to the best colour club
Had to be Azure to be honest
love black but had an 06 Audi A3 2.0t in black and it was a nightmare to keep clean
off to brussels for a weekend away then pick up the car on tues... Abbey at the end of the month then roll on the sunshine for roof off and motorbike fun for the summer

You are clearly someone with great taste
Coulsdon.... your only up the road
-
prob not going to mess with the exhaust to be honest. going to change the intake stuff straight off the bat and then if i want to add more later i can always go back to Mark and get it remapped... couldnt drive it around this summer knowing it could so easily be more than it is
