The valet key which has no battery will disengage the immobiliser and start the car but will not open the glove box. (Owners manual)
Doesn't on Caroline's MY07 roadster.
Pete
Is it definetly the origional nissan key?
It should operate as above. Maybe its a replacent?
Looks original to me.
I have a similar problem with my valet key. Unlocks the door and disables the alarm, but not the emobiliser!!
Any ideas??
Jacko
Just sets the alarm off when opening the door.
Pete
I dont even have a key like that. Just two normal keys ...should i have one?

Hi Kev,
When you getting them done?
Don't have a spare set, but I am going on holiday next Wednesday for a couple of weeks , so could lend you my set on Tuesday and leave mine up on jacks till I get back, if that helps you out....
Bloody hell, thats Hellava nice of you buddy! I wouldnt be able to get it sorted for then i dont think.....And i'd be scared as hell to damage your rims! Wa hoping someone might have a scabby set lying around.
Maybe even buy a cheap set with legal tyres
Thanks

A bit cheeky but thought i'd ask
Getting my wheels powder coated and wondered if anyone in Aberdeen shire area might have a set of wheels i could borrow for a few days so i dont have to take the Z off the road. Could swap for beer/food tokens at my pub!!!

Getting my wheels powder coated and cant decide on colour. Worried a dark colour makes the rear tyre look huge!!
Opinions?

Best car for finding the source of the Nile I see too
That was what clinched it !!
Bet it didn't cost £1500 though!
Not that much more"

Its "fairly" tame
ECUTek mapping - 265 BHP (verified)
Prodrive exhaust & sports cat
Prodrive intercooler silicone 'Y' hose pipe
Cold air intake
'Stack' boost pressure gauge
BC 2 way adjustable coilovers with adjustable camber plates front and rear
STI Strut braces front and rear
Hel braided brake lines
STI 4 pot calipers (front), 2 pot (rear)
EBC Yellow pads
Blue point vented discs
Even though it does feel quicker and is great fun to drive, I defineatley prefer the z's v6 . The scoob needs to be on boost or the power disappears. Also compared to the brembo's the brakes on this are shxt !

How are you finding the rebuild? Is it like a jigsaw puzzle or did the previous owner label everything?
Its a bit of a jigsaw tbh, but I bought it off a mate so I can shout if I get stuck. There's not alot to it though do most if it will be easy enough ..... I hope

Hi all
This has probably been asked before, i did a search but couldn't see anything but apologize if this is a repeat!
Planning getting my Rays powdercoated in the next couple weeks and tempted to go gunmetal or black. Any pics of a sunset with these coloured rays on the site? Also plan to put spacers on the rear, whats recomended
