I would be looking at the latch if new springs don't work. Try lowering the latch just slightly, so when you close the lid, it still latches.... There is every possibility that over time, the latch has moved upwards. I will check this on mine tomoz and let you know.

I was actually thinking of a built cosworth bottom end and heads. But at the same time, would like to do something different and go for a little increase in displacement and twin turbo. Maybe even get an engine from a 370 and stroke that??? Hmmmmmmm.....

Maybe put a 370z engine, auto box and paddle shift??? Get the gearbox fully built and a valve job and updated torque converter???? :s

My plans are really pushing me to sell the car and get a 370z or even a 35GTR as a base :s

I was thinking about that system.. Im going for a HKS replica though. Im going to take a gamble on it! If it doesnt work out, i will get the full motordyne system!

Im going to be ordering a few bits next week. Suspension, 06 airbox mod, full exhaust system, plenum spacer.. Then i will take it to abbey for a rev-up!

In the process of doing a little cosmetic mod today... Front and rear nissan badges are being sprayed black! Will do the door handles in the week too!

Just waiting for these to dry now so I can apply the clear coat and then I will post pics of them on the car

I was looking into the geometry bits and found some cam bolts that give +-3degrees

I cant be bothered with coilovers. I may fit some in the future, but springs and dampers are fine for what i am after at the moment.

I just want to try out a bigger drop

I would usually go Tein.. But the drop just isn't enough. So.. K-sport it'll have to be.

I will do some research on Megan racing though.

I would be looking at getting any adjustable suspension arms too. As my plan is to track the car.

Anyone used either of these lowering spring kits??? I am toying with the idea of keeping my zed and continuing with my project.... So am still looking at parts!

I want springs rather than coilovers and will use updated blistein dampers..

I guess, what I want to know is..... What kind of drop am I looking at?? I want a decent drop.. Not like the tiny drop you get with most brands.

Ive decided...... The car is going to get stripped out to within an inch of its life and is getting some serious weight reduction!!! Its going to be my dedicated track car!!!

But... Im off to Africa to work on thursday, so i shall update when i come back home

Anyone got any ideas on a full de-cat exhaust system which will produce decent power and be track sound level friendly?? And be good for a turbo conversion when funds allow???
