Iv just recently sold my RX-8 and in the space of 4 days i had one guy try and convince me he was a prince working in ireland and was going to pay me over the odds to keep the car for his pick up man and another was trying to tell me his mate was going to pay me £10k and wanted a rebate of £2k to give to his driver that was to collect the car...

I mean, do people actually fall for these bizarre stories?

I think im going to have to bite the bullet, does it sound electrical to you too? just a bit annoying!

Iv done alot of searching and even followed many guides and reset motor guides; so this is the problem im having;

The windows have stopped working, no motor noise, nothing! So i changed the switch unit, nothing! So i followed the cleaning guide took it all off cleaned it all up reset the carbon brushes and still nothing. Once night set and turning the lights on, it appears iv got no lights on to the switch unit so im now thinking iv got no power to the unit, iv checked the 10 and 15 fuses but not relays and all look ok, if it was a relay surely i would loose more than just the window unit? My 350 is a JDM and 04. I also made sure everything was plugged in...

Anyone else had this kind of issue and/or know how to resolve this?

thats quite weird a mate of mine has a 172 cup, its not standard and off my head i know its been chipped, k-tech cams and runs a lightended flywheel and i just left him behind! Kept up first and just started to pull end of 2nd and pulled clearly 3rd onwards!

The birdview doesnt have a switch to turn it on/off. Not sure what the JDM has though.

 

There are good systems on here which are as good but if you really want a UK system I have one which you can have very cheap. Its sat around doing nothing so may as well be of use to someone.

It's a Japanese sat nav which has no function in uk. That's why it's disconnected. It's in Japanese. Rip it out and buy one that works.

Yeh i realise that im just very curious to see what it does, im only 21 these things are entertaining! Do you know if there is an on/off switch for it?

erm i think i didnt explain myself right, the sat nav has been turned off by an apparent switch? I havnt looked and it doesnt bother me because of the fact it can not be used over here but its like telling a kid heres a sweet but u cant eat it! All i want to know is, is there a switch to turn it on and off?

Iv just bought my first 350z, last friday, its an 04 JDM in silver, its an amazing car as all of you know !

I owned an RX8 before the 350 and theres just no comparison, the 350 blows it out the water!

I bought the 350 with the sat/nav disconnected as the previous owner found it annoying, does anyone know how to turn it back on? i know its pointless but its a toy none the less ha ha! I did search for various phrases such as "sat/nav switch" "sat/nav on/off" but havnt found anything about this.. makes me think hes b.s me abit? BUT the car really makes up for it all! Iv just bought a set of bronze rota grid's and trying to get a set of leather seats so will get pics up when they are on and in!
