  2. Kat has just set off from Fareham nr Portsmouth, for Middlesborough, in the Zed to go to a funeral all on her lonesome! I have to work so can't accompany her. Sooooo, if you see a ginger Z, T99 SAF, with a titchy red headed bird driving, give her a wave  she won't feel so lonely then :) She's going A34 / A43 / M1. Cheers.

    Hi Simon,

I have a ginger Z a wave on the A27 last weekend having just filled up. Got a wave back. Was this your zed?

I've done the A34 / A43 / M1 route a few times going to Derby. Nice route but gotta watch those cameras on the A43.

    Cheers,

    Geo

Hello mate, Kat says she waved back at someone the other day, so it could have been  I've just put some club stickers in the rear windows, so if you see it again you would see them. Did you know there is a meet at Port Solent at the start of June? Zugara is organizing it. See ya round...

    Simon.

    Hi Simon,

I didn't know about the meet at Port Solent. I missed the one last year as I had to work.

I'll see if I can make this one.

    Cheers,

    Geo

  4. Got to give my zed a quick wash over the weekend.

Having just dried the car, I turned round to see....

My daughter using one of my brushes to detailer her scooter!

Would showing her how to use the foam lance & clay bar be going too far!?

    Cheers,

  5. 1st to second gear change is usually poor when cold. thats the only issue ive had with my gearbox on my 06 uk car

i have the actual extended nissan warranty that you can only get when the car is still under the original warranty. Havent had any issues claiming. It is alot of money and i wont be putting it on next year as ive put far tooo much different parts on it now to justify asking nissan to fix.

I'm in a Nissan Centre now & asked about extending the warranty (my zed is just under 3 years old). I'm being told that it can only be extended at the point of purchasing the car!

    Oh well.

    Cheers,

    Geo

  6. You're going to love it. I had to buy my own; although, my Mrs just got me a Karcher extension hose. She must have heard me swearing each time I had to move the pressure washer.

Would it be cheating to use the lance to make it a white Christmas (no snow where I am)?

    Cheers,

    Geo

  7. With all the reports of how bad the 350z is in the snow, I've been using the Mrs's S-Max.

But this week she's needed it so I braved the ice rink roads round my way.......

Not as bad as I was expecting. I could slip, slide & wheel spin but only if I provoked the zed. Mind you I was driving with as much care & attention that's humanly possible.

One thing we need to remember is not to get complacent.

    Cheers,

    Geo

P.S. Managed a 180 hand brake turn in the S-Max (empty snow covered private car park) at about 5 MPH. Was such a giggle.

  8. What a cool kart. B) Nicely split up. Only way it could improve was if the area for the cloths, had a lid on it.

    Hi bronzee,

It kinda does. The tooltray covers the cloths it's not air tight but it gives a lot of protection.

Now if this snow went away I could get out & use it.

    Cheers,

    Geo

Thanks for the thread Geo.

Mrs has bought me this for Xmas. :yahoo:

    Oooooh,

Just spotted you're getting the metal one.

I haven't seen that model. Could you post some photos when you've unwrapped it?

Your Mrs will need loads of wrapping paper as they come in big boxes!

    Cheers,

    Geo
