oil ordered, thanks for the discount!!

Really not sure why you would take your car to Halfords for a service!!
-
The downside is that often i just fill it up, pay on my card without realy looking at how much i'm paying, then wonder wheer all my money goes.
Same, I havent got a clue what I pay per litre, I just fill up and pay.
-
It depends on how busy the Shell garage is near me, quite often there is a large queue, so I go when there isnt a queue, so sometimes I fill up when I am down to half a tank, sometimes when the dte light is on. Never let it run to low though.

Love the fact he has included a picture of a bear taking a slash!!

Regulate is an absolute classic!!

and might have to think of actually buying a house at some point! Haha
A wiseman once told me, you can live in your car, but you can't drive your house!!

Done. Hopefully they will

Owned a VTEC Honda Prelude for 8 years, it needed a bit of work doing on it, so started looking around for new cars and realised I could afford a zed (always loved them).

I got similar quotes as you I'm in London also, one was even £412 without plugs call Abbey they gave me a much cheaper quote and included a brake fluid change in the service your plugs don't need changing yet 5 years or 60,000 miles I believe.
+1 on using Abbey, will be much cheaper than anyone else in the area and they actually know what they are doing!!

Duely noted, you may regret that offer,
I will never get bored of telling people to reboot

I have only been in IT for 6 and a half years, but then I am an IT support manager, so i guess I am qualified to offer help.

There should have been an error code.... a combination of flashing lights... I videoed mine on my phone to look it up.
As long as the light stays off then all is good I had problems with mine but it was because I had HFC's fitted which the ECU didn't like
There seemed to be 10 quick flashes then a pause followed by 10 more quick flashes.
Drove to football training and back tonight with no sign of the engine management light, so i guess it is all good.
Thanks again!!

Will try the ECU reset.
Reset the ECU and no error code came up and now the engine management light is off so all good!!
Thanks SpursMadDave!!

Ordered one up myself, looking forward to trying it.
I wasnt going to mod this one either .......... plenum spacer, decat, throttle controller, suspension, wheels, bumpers, skirts, paint, ICE, interior bits, headlights say different.
I wasnt going to mod mine either, previously had a heavily modded Prelude, brought the 350 as thought it wouldnt need any mods, but as soon as I found this forum that all changed!!

Might just be you 'spirited' driving
Is you can standard, exhaust etc?
Do an ECU reset and check the code that will give you some info
Engine management light comes on as soon as you fire up the engine.
Whole car is standard apart from a cosworth panel filter.
Will try the ECU reset.
Cheers

Just fitted mine and very happy with the results, only had a few minutes to test on the dual carriage way near work, and the sport 7 mode makes a massive difference to the throttle response through all the gears!!
Only issue is since fitting it my engine management light is on, anyone else had this??

I have some really good date recovery software that I err obtained. PM me, either send me the drive or I can send you the software on disc.
-
I would be up for one of these!!
-
Don't really think that has anything to do with it being a GT pack
ha ha yeah I do realise that, there was a reason it was listed as mint and was very cheap, it was knackered!!
-
Plus the only GT I test drove stalled unless you were pulling off with about 3000rpm, absoulte heap!!
-
i got a non-gt as I didn't want leather seats and whilst the Bose upgrade would have been nice, I really didn't want leather seats.

I was searching for a car and for straight line performance, grip, handling, steering feel, reliability, exclusivity looks and of course - noise the 350Z was a no-brainer. to get a similarly aged equally performing car, you would struggle to get something as good for twice the price.
its main Rival is the MK1 audi TT, which is just a golf 1.8t/R32 with a different body on. it drives no-where near as well as the Z.
other things i considered were an RX8 - the engine didnt push my buttons and the styling is a bit love one day hate the next for me, S2000. - looks a bit girly and again engine is another 4-pot screamer. possibly a skyline import - a bit tacky for one in my price range and couldnt be arsed with the hastle of an import.
the 350z is the bargain of the century. you get so much car for your money. i don't regret buying mine one bit!
I went through exactly the same process as yourself, RX8, S2000 or 350Z, to tell you the truth until I started looking I really didnt even imagine I would be able to afford a Zed, had always wanted one!! Came just the right time for me as I had just inherited some money and my Prelude needed 2 new wheel arches plus other bits to keep it going.
-
When you consider my Zed is 6 years old and has 73k on the clock it seems like the idea of keeping it locked up in a garage would be a waste, I would rather be out enjoying it everyday!!

Just as a warning to anyone who uses system restore to 'fix' a virus, generally the virus will exist in the restore points, so you should purge your restore points, and run malware bytes in safe mode, sometimes the virus will also change your host file, so replacing it with a new one will be needed as well.
Also if you do not have an anti virus program download microsoft security essentials, best free anti virus out there.
