  1. Guys,

A lot of you have Kuro Black cars, what are the best techniques?

I have a machine polisher but I am not sure which pads and fluids people recommend and in what order?

I have (far too much) detailing stuff already ranging from cheap to mid quality (dodo Juice etc) products and I am not adverse to buying more :teeth:

I MUST get rid of the spiders webs in the paint work at some point soon. It's soul destroying seeing them in the sun

  2. You cannot fault the guys.

I travel over an hour each way to use them. Which, based on fuel prices today should serve as a testament to the quality of work and banter they provide :D

I arrived late the other day and even though they had important plans they stayed behind and fitted some new drive belts to my car. Granted it's not a massive job but it shows that they do infact care about their customers!

  3. I just got back from a trip to Spain with my partner. Part of the trip involved going to San Firmines which is the festival in Pamplona where they run the bulls through the streets each morning.

The atmosphere was mental. A real crazy place!

Here are a few photos and videos....

    Pints of Sangria :D

Obviously you have to wear the uniform of the fiesta!

People waiting to run with the bulls!

Closest I was allowed to get

A video I took from our balcony spot overlooking the run:

If you get the chance to go to this then do it! It's a 10 day long 24 hour party, it seriously never stops! The Spanish know how to party!

  4. I have the same thing at the moment.

I am going to pop to a garage to get it on the ramps and check her bum out for any bits that shouldn't be wobbling :teeth:

Any recomendations for the Swindon/Newbury/Oxford Area?

Also how much do rear drop links cost? How much to uprated ones cost?

  5. Right I am going to pick up a leather cleaner tomorrow from Halfords and want to know which one to go for...

    Zymol Leather Cleaner:

    Or

    Mer Leather Cleaner:

    Or

    Auto Glym Leather Cleaner Spray:

Heard fairly good things about top two products. Any first hand experience?

  6. Massive thanks to Andy and Mitz for fitting me in at the end of a busy day so I could get my car back on the road!

Thanks to fakeindian for selling me his exhaust!

Turned up standard and left with a Japspeed Y pipe and Scorpion exhaust!

    Few pictures:

And we have proven that with some careful placement of cardboard for padding a complete OE Y pipe, mid section and backbox will fit in the boot of a 350! All these horror stories of having the Y pipe in the front were not true!

To sum it up. Top guys, top service and good banter :teeth:

  7. Firstly let me say that working on and cleaning cars in 0 degree weather is not fun :cold: but I guess it toughens you up!

I went down to see Daryl first this Saturday morning after getting my MOT sorted :teeth:

We started off getting Daryl's lovely Azure Zed gleaming.

We then moved on to uprating the pads in my Zed

Issue with my existing rotors wearing unevenly so I got a really hot blue mark on both disks in the same place! Will sort itself out after a few miles I am sure.

Daryl then took my Snow Foam cherry B)

    Shiny new Scorpion!

    Two gleaming Zeds!

Can't beat a good day of banter, detailing, modding and Tesco's Finest burgers :teeth:

  8. We are just in the process of changing the pads on my zed and we noticed that the disk was loose.

    Is this normal?

I assumed that the disk would have a retaining screw to keep it tight but once the wheel was off the disk was a bit loose. Is this something to be concerned about?!

    Help!

It seems to be relying on the wheel being bolted up to keep the disk tight.
