  1. Thanks for bringing this up dude! I have exactly the same issue, but haven't got around to doing anything about it! Most of the clunking comes from low-speed bumps - it sounds awful when there's no wind/engine/tyre noise to drown it out! Mine is a 53-plate on ~70k miles - how about you? Let me know how your repair-job goes - will use you as a guide!!
  2. HELP PLEASE! Excellent guide, and have successfully used it to change 5 of my plugs to Denso Iridiums (from ZMANALEX, of course!), however I can't get to the sixth! It's a 2003 engine with the intake on the RHS (as you look from the front), but it's the rear coil pack on the left-hand-side that I can't get to. There's a wiring loom in a plastic cover bracket which sits over the top of the coil pack, and for the life of me I can't get it out of the way!! Looks like the plastic loom cover is slotted on to the end of a steel bracket, which is then bolted to the engine side cover. I tried to pull it off the end of the metal bracket, but it's stuck solid..... Any ideas?! Any help much appreciated!!
  3. Mate, my clutch never slipped but got very heavy with a high bite point. Dealer recommended replacement. Mine's a 53-plate with ~65k miles on the clock. Enter ZMANALEX! New clutch, new dual-mass flywheel, gearbox oil and molyslip all supplied at unbeatable prices in double-quick time. Found a local Jap-specialist to do the work for me. All done and dusted, including labour, for just under four figures (try getting a quote for the same from a Nissan dealer..... over £2k?!). He will take care of you!
  4. Having the same problem myself, exactly as described by beezo75, which has only started occurring since I changed the rears. Was running Pirelli P-Zero Rossos all round (225/45 R18 on front; 245/45 R18 on rear; 2003 Rays alloys), and have now changed to Bridgestone Potenza RE050s on the rear. Fronts are around two thirds worn, so I'm guessing perhaps it's reason number 5 for me?! Mismatch between worn fronts to new rears?! Also, do any of you more experienced guys know how the ESP works on the Z? Does it run from a gearbox output shaft speed sensor along with front wheel speed sensors (which would add weight to reason number 5), or does it run from all four wheel speed sensors (which would mean reason 5 is less likely, I think), or something else?! Perhaps I'm thinking about this too much, but it's a weird problem and definitely not caused by excessively lairy driving!! Thanks.
  5. Thanks again SteveW - followed the guide through this morning and my driver's side window now works a treat! You don't have one for 'how to fit a road bike into a 350Z' do you?!
  6. Great guide - thanks! Got my first Zed only last weekend, but having trouble with the driver's window. Will get on the case of fixing it next weekend!
  7. Thanks for the welcomes guys! Test drove my first one yesterday afternoon - an 04-plate coupe - all the way!! Got another test-drive later this week, and it's Azure! Very much like Ruddles' motor actually.... Nice pics on your flickr btw mate!!
  8. Hello everyone! Signed up last week, and currently absorbing silly amounts of ownership info with a view to buying a 2003/04 Coupe GT later this month (Azure blue for me hopefully!). Have been enjoying my Leon Cupra for a few years now, but I feel it is time to step up to the real world of RWD and six cylinders!!
