My vehicle aint due a service for atleast another 8-9000 miles but the next one is a biggie, i was in the nissan dealership picking up some bits and whilst i was waiting i asked for a qoute on a P3 and the bird behind the desk said it would be 246.50 all inclusive, is that a fair price or am i better off looking at the local garages round my ares?

just wondering im only wanting to top up the reserve and the bloke at nissan said i could pour the hole bottle in, its concentrated!, should i just go with the 50/50 or pour it all in?

just been out to double check the oil readings after leaving it over night and they are still comming up as over full, which means it aint a massive oil leak, i checked under the car and the patch was small, so if it was a serious oil leak i guess it would have been all over, i have parked the beast in an area were there are no oil marks and gonna leave it for the day and check on it at night!, if there is no oil leaks it would be safe to say it is deffs the seal on the dip stick.

when checking around the whole the dipstick is inserted i noticed that the piece of metal which looks like a funnel of some sort is bent and that it keeps catching on the seal from the dipstick when it is pulled out.

dont suppose anyone would know why it is doing that and how to bend it back without taking the filter box out!?

also when checking i noticed the coolant level was low, considering i have only had it out for 100mile i would of thought it would be high?

just rang the stealers and 17 quid for a whole new dip stick!! not bad but a seal would ov been better!!!

after further inspection, and me being a mong and not looking at it, the seal seems to be ripped!, hopefully that is the problem, ill take it to the garage to check but if it just the seal were can i get a new one from?

only had the car for a week and oil has started to drip from the front of the engine, i have some pics, aint the best but hopefully some of you will be able to tell me roughly what the problem is

i checked the iol PSI and at idle it sits around 60-70 and the rev sits at 500-1000

there is oil around the fill cap not alot but it looks as though it could be leaking, also me mate who has a good understanding of vehicles says the garage may have filled it up to much and the pressure is pushing it out?

i checked the dip stick and it is to the second notch, i have only done 100mile since i had it and it was serviced by the garage i bought it from.

Hi All,

I bought me new zed knowing that the factory fitted GPS was faulty, the dealer said it was the disc so i thought it would be easy enough to get a new disc for the system.

today i took it to a nissan garage and he had a look and play and he believed it was the player because he said the discs were in good nick, and priced a new player for around 2-3 grand , which i gasped n then went on my way, the question is.

has anyone had a issue with the factory fitted Sat Nav and if so would it be the disc or the player?, also would it be cheaper to get an aftermarket satnav installed?, i aint aware of the installation but i would buy the kit and try n fit it myself!

i only have a budget of 200 - 300 pound so if there is no option i might just take it out.
