Hey guys, when I bought my z'd there was a lot of suffs on the lid of the cubby and espically on the button? not sure how, but ... oh well. Are these hard to come by??

thanks guys, gonna scout off to tescos and get a spray bottle, vingar and some kitchen roll!! didnt think it was limescale, just thought it was water marks but looking at some of those pics, it could be early days lime, and ... well i think i got off pretty light!! thanks guys! ... oh and on a side note, was AMAZED no water got in during the first burst! I know its a coupe, but all the seals were perfect! not a drop inside! My old megane coupe used to let water in like the titanic through the sun roof even in a drizzle!

Ah just back from 3 weeks away to find that a pipe has been dripping in the underground carpark of my apartment block right on my car!! Before xmas the pipe burst (just on top of the car ) flooding the car park, but didn't seem to do any damage, I washed her off and everything seemed ok! Not bad for a couple thousand gallons of water, enough to blow out all the wooden doors in the car-park and flood 2 of the lifts. I assumed the pipe was fixed but there must have been a continuos drip coming from where they fixed it right onto my bonnet for the last few weeks. The stain was massive and white to begin with but after a 1 hour wash, about 20 mins spent just on that spot with soapy water and a sponge its still about the size of my fist and the length of my arm. Is there any good products out there to get rid of this? Is this something I should claim for? I dont want to rub too hard, but is it just a matter of elbow greese?? Thanks for the help guys

someone told me that having the heated seats on greatly reduces the life of the leather on the seats and cracks the leather?? is this true?

Ahh perfect this is exactly what I wanted!!! I didn't know you could retrim a wheel?? Has anyone done this or know where you could get it done? I thought a retro fit wheel would be incredibly hard and most after market ones don't have airbags or functionality =( soft leather and grips could be sweet Have pm'd Alex too!!

ahh I knew this would probably be taken the wrong way!!! Im not comparing it to the serocco at all! I was comparing it to the 370 ... its my own fault for looking inside the 370 while waiting for the keys to come for the test drive! Im just saying when most people get them they want to put big wheels, or bodykits or theyre own spin on the car. I love it as it is! AMAZING as it is! Just thought the wheel was the only thing that looked ... dare I say it to be open to another volley of abuse? ... Dated?

Ok guys I know this should probably be in the interior section, but I dont know if its a mod that can be done? sorry its a bit long .. the update:love the 350 hate the wheel any suggestions Ive done some searches on google and on this site (none came up here) and lots of people talk about it but no one has ever done it or said if it can be done? Can you put a 370 steering wheel (if you could find one) in a 350?? I love the car and collecting it on saturday, but went down in my friends sorrocco and ... well the 350s interior just does look dated =( ... pains me to say it! So was looking to see if any one had any suggestions ... ive read some of the interior update & upgrade mods, but really want to start off with the wheel and dash. Its a GT spec with bluetooth & cruse so would like to try and keep those functions (but not essental), but was involved in a car crash 2 months ago, (passenger) where we got cut out, and the airbag saved my mates face, so would like to keep that! Is there any after market wheels that can be retrofitted to fit? - love the TT and sorrocco ones. Or ... heck is there even any good chunky covers you can put over it to make it feel a bit more modern.

any more progress on this mate? would love to get some ideas?

thanks guys, going for a test drive tomorrow, but was just reading up on the speck of it and just noticed that it had never been replaced? Is there anything I should look out for on the drive? ... dont think he'd be too keen on me trying to take off in 4th at the lights?

Hey guys just checking, something... when does the clutch usually go on the 350? Ive been hearing a lot about the clutch needing changed at 60,000 miles. Im looking at one and its done just under 70,000 but never had the clutch replaced. Should I be worried?? How much does a new clutch cost just so I can weigh up my options??
