LABOUR:

Engine oil and filter - 0.3 hours

Gearbox oil drain and refill - 0.3 hours

Differential drain and fill - 0.25 hours

MOT style check over - 0.5 hours

Coolant drain and refill Inc. Bleeding - 0.75 hours

Auxiliary belt change - 0.3 hours

Have you called the Nissan in Southend? The new one on Cherry Orchard Way. I work near the airport and was thinking of using them. Would be very convenient as they're so close. Anyone any experience of them?

I live in hadleigh and to be honest I was going to drive there and get a price also... But my brother in law works at the vauxhall garage there and checked out the prices for me.. They came in the same a basildon were charging.

Have you ever been to wittinghams garage in rochford! NOW thats a old skool garage its so funny (the bloke still pops out to fill your petrol up and check tyre pressure)

its only 10k, i;d be worried if it had missed a swervice for 20k

I'd be worried, it hasn't had a service for 4 years!

 

4 year old oil is not something I'd want in any engine, much less a performance one.

Im a little worried but its more like 9k (not that it makes a difference) the oil looks cleanish! And does not miss a beat! YET!

They said that I will not need a brake fluid change as they will just test and see if its ok?

But Im sure it would need it after 7 years

They said It wont need a diff oil change as does not break down at same rate and same for gear box they would just top up both?

I thought it would have needed changing but im not a mechanic

They said other than plugs thats all i would need!

Im sure it will need a coolant flush?

Any advice on these Q's for we welcomed

350Z fuel filter isn't changable it says they are a life time filter.

 

What service did you want done? Have they garages got Consult 2/3 for diagnostic inspection?

Hi mark, Im looking for a P3 I guess... as the car has never had one. I dont think any of the garages were even going to do a diagnostic from what i can see. And thanks for the fule filter info

I guess its only a matter of printing off what they need to do

DAMM it i just found my paper work that came with the car and had a good look...

its was registerd in 12/12/2003

Had P1 at 6k in 2004

had P2 at 12k in 2005

and a P1 in 2006 at 20k

Then nothing since then for 4 years and its just hit 30k and 7 years old

Think its going to need a fuel filter etc aswell to be on safe side!

did DMS do a full checklist the same as nissan does?

I have just be informed that Nissan do a Gold service which is the same as a P3 but for any car over 5 years old> Im going to go get a quote tomorrow

Hi Yes we can do the P3 service for you and provide OEM NGK plugs with K,N air filter for you I would suggest to get the brake line upgrade to braided line at the same time as well, you will get much better respond with the brake with braided line and since you are changing all the brake oil, is a good idea to get this done at the same time. P3 you will be looking at around £330 plus VAT and with KN filter and belt change it will be another £130 plus VAT Brake line - HEL Braided line kit £130 plus VAT inc fitting and new Motul Dot 4 race brake oil thanks Dixon Cheng

So Rk tunings coming in at £528.75 inc VAT

and DMS £540 inc VAT

Not much in it really apart from DMS being alot more helpful in there reply and also suggesting other parts.

Hi guys and girls> Im in need of your advice, I have layed my hands on a 2003 350z with 30k on the clock. Its only had two services in 6 years EEK! I think i should get a major service P3!

Im really not botherd about having it done a nissan so looking for someone to suggest a good garage which could sort me out and knows there way around a 350z.

I have had a quote from RK TUNING in benfleet so far for this work;

Oil change with mobil 1 or equivalent

gearbox oil change

diff oil change

brake fluid change dot 4.1

hks oil filter

sparks changed hks iridium or NGK oe spec

K and N panel filter

Full coolant flush and replace

Both aux belts changed

Full health check.

This came in at estimated of £450+ VAT

quick tip.. anything you dont want to get wet> IE electrical parts> cover with kitchen foil its easy to mold around things and when you power wash dose not fall off. ( mr muscle kitchen spray for any grease and grim) cheap but works.

Alright 350z people I found this old thread a few weeks back. And really liked this exhaust! I know its abit marmite as pimms said! Anyhow... found one on Ebay this morning... its been on the car for a year and a half, Looks in good nic apart from some surface rust. BIDDING IS OVER IN in 4hours!! I would like to put a bid on it.. But was hoping your guys could give me some advice on the exhaust!

I have searched on here and ther does not seem much info on the Quad exit Enterprise Power Exhaust??

I have listoned to the clip i found on You Tube and sounds right up my street with the RASPY sound.

Im looking at putting this on a 350z Roadster and have been advised that it will fit by seller??

Any advice would be really welcomed before the 4 hours are up!
