  1. I remember seeing that issue of jap performance! very nice cars mate. Nice to see you're coming back to jap.

Services come every 9k miles or 1 year. which ever is first and the prices depend with which service is required and where you take it.

Not to many issues with the hard tops AFAIK though i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong.

  2. a couple of months ago i was waiting for my mrs to finish work, so i went to look at cars, just general cars really. i was in the honda garage talking to the salesman about the new civic just for the crack and he saw me driving my 350 on the way in. after a chat he said oh we have a 370 in, so we got talking and he offered a test drive to me. he knew i wasn't really after a new car, and probably couldn't afford one but saw that i liked my cars and offered (think he was a bit bored that afternoon to like).

i'm 24 and look like a 17 year old. But when you get a good salesman he doesn't judge you, he tries to help you and interest you, that is there job lets face it and for me that gets me interested and makes me want the car. My main pet peve is salesmen who don't take you seriosuly and judge you on sight presuming you can't afford the car and are after a joy ride.

  3. 39 of us...

    Who's organising meets these days

    You?

I advertised for a new REO months ago, but had ZERO interest.

Honestly I would if I had the time to commit, but alas, i do not, now if i win the 148mil tonight i may have a bit of free time but i am quite sure the 350 will not be my only nice car

i was going to step up the the challange but not having a zed kinda hindered me.

  4. i'm in a similar position, sold my 350 recently and tryin got decide what to go for next, What puts me off a brand new 370 is the depreciation, so i'm looking at one for around 18-20k, also looking at a S2 elise, or exige, elise probabley a 111R or SC'd if i can find one or a earlier s2 exige.

370 plus points are the looks and interior, loved my 350 to bits and know i'd love a 370 jsut as much

bad points are depreciation rates and repair rates if it goes wrong. (are the 370's gear boxes better than the 350's? dont want to replace one of them again!)

Elise/exige. plus points are cheap to run, fuel, tax etc. Plenty of power to weight, great fun. But would i miss the comforts that i loved about my 350.

Looked at caymans but they're out of my price range, plus porkas do nothing for me.

  5. after selling my zed a few months ago i'm commiting to either a s2 exige, 111R elise or the newer SC'd elise.

as many here by the sounds of it, considered a 370 but can't justify the costs for what is essentially a weekend car.

Doesn't seem to be that many 111R's around at the minute though :(

  6. Morning all!

I'm after a bit of info and i know there's a good wealth of knowledge on here so thought i'd ask. I'm looking at training for a new career path as mine could be looking a bit sketchy at the minute and seems to be going down hill, loosing a lot of staff for lesser roles atm and i'd rather have a plan for the future incase i get dumped on.

Currently i work for BT Openreach (awaits flaming) in network design. I've been thinking about doing some training in a new-ish profession for just incase basicly. To fit in with the past 6 years i've had working with the copper and a bit of fibre network i'm looking to train in something a bit more IT network based. I've been looking at some Cisco CCNA week long courses but not sure what to go for.

Imagine someone on here will be in that kind of industry so all info is welcome :D

    Thanks!
