I was planning on setting off about 10.30. Which way will you be going? I was thinking maybe coming off the M62 and going up the A1?

Hi Matt , I was Gona set off abt 930 ish as my sat nav says nearly 2 hrs , I will b heading on the A64 n then A1 , I'm so looking forward to it as the weather is going to b mint I'm in a GM roadster nismo styling n big alloys lol !! I have seen the aftermath of someone coming round a bend too fast to find a horse there - believe you me a horse with a leg hanging off and having a bolt put through its head is not a pretty sight.

I have also experienced utter road rage from said drivers who have been 'inconvenienced' in their progress by having to slow down to pass.

My last horse did manage to deliver a nice shoe shaped print to a BMW once though - but she was an utter biatch

Simple fact is you don't know what's round the next bend

My friend n her horse got killed by a driver acting silly blowing his horn being impatient the horse ended on his roof , my horse once kicked a car n the driver lost his court case against me , he couldn't wait for me to try n get my horse into a safe place for him to pass safely n he clipped my horse who then kicked his car + he got my big vet bill

really? do you have to have insurance for them then? and do you not feel like a complete pikey. see riding a horse is one thing cos you can get over to the side out the way, although riding through the fields dressed as a wild west cowboy is so much cooler,

I don't think it's compulsery but it should be when you are going on public highways but in court the horse has right of way as I found out judge said horse n carts were used as pulic transport well before cars n never to pass a horse if it's in difficulty u gota stop n turn your engine off nitemare I know but that's the law

I'm right in between Kirton and Hemswell - you could have dropped in (except I was driving around Yorkshire for the day enjoying the sun and avoiding the caravans)

i've kind of shut up shop so to speak, but if there are another 10 interested parties i'll do another round, its just i used up the last of my white vinyl so would need to order in some more and its not cost effective for just 1 person.

26 years with a clean license for me after getting cuaght twice in six months.

 

IMO with the amount of unmarked cars, cameras, horse boxes, helicopter etc. there is only one foolproof way to avoid getting caught.

But been caught many times speeding but always managed to talk myself outa trouble , suppose I count myself very lucky I was caught by some police officers in good moods , will have to watch myself in the zed Cos it seems to be a magnet material for the cops been pulled twice for a roadside check ?? To b honest think they just wanted a nosey at the car !!

There's an unmarked police GM BMW 5 Series Touring in your area Mitch (M62) ....... keep your eyes peeled ..... he tried to get me on the way back from Wales ..... came up behind me flashing his headlights like a boy racer wanting to see if I'd take him on

Cheers Attak , I knew there was a black unmarked BMW on there will have to look out for the GM it's not fun out there anymore with all these unmarked cars , n yes the try n goat folk in sports cars that happened to me when I had my RS Mexico only thing is I fell for it thinking it was another poxy XR 3 wanting a race so I floored it n on reaching 80 mph to my shock / horror blue flashing lites came on he did admit to pushing me into speeding but was shocked to find a woman behind the wheel he let me off with the speeding but dragged me into York cop shop to noise test my janspeed exhaust as he said it was too noisey but it was ok , don't ya just love em !!Noooooooooo
