The car does feel great though and to me fast as F*@k as my other car is a bus of a Grand C4 Picasso

Going to get the car serviced and then maybe a re-map of the ECU then see what gains I achieve or lose......

Will try and post my Dyno graph up later as my scanner is on the blink........

If there is anything else that anyone wants to add then please feel free as we all have Z's and the experience is priceless........

I have just enquired about a P3 service for 51,000mls and they quoted me £260........

This was at Anauld Shark Nissan Stealers in Dundee.......... Is this around the going rate?........

Whats the best spark plugs you can get for performance, where to get them from and how much does a full set cost?

your spark plugs can lose about 20% of performance, get them changed, have a remap and im sure you will find the figures your after.

So your saying that it could of lost 55bhp if it is the spark plugs??? Thats crazy if it is..........

Wishfull thinking but that would make it around the 300hp mark if it is........

I was told it was 287bhp. The car was registered in may 05. I thought the 350z was 287bhp and then the 06 was 297bhp or maybe im wrong lol....

How can you tell if you sparks need changing? is there something i need to look out for or is it just a routine task that needs doing......

Just took my 05 GT Roadster with 50,000 mls on a rolling road at Falken Performance in Glenrothes. The result was very disapointing I only achieved 257bhp and 181bhp at the wheels. Torque was 222 ft lbs

It has got a full stainless exhaust and a some kind of cone pop charger filter. Not sure on the makes on either components as very aren't visible. Cannot understand why I only got this amount as stock it is 287bhp.

Is there anything I can do to reclaim the lost horses??? I did ask the guy at the rolling road but he said there is not much you can do to the ecu in a 350z. Is this normal for this cars age and milage or is it possible that the mods that are already on are'nt compatible with each other.

If anyone else has experienced this please let me know and how you rectified the power loss..........

Spotted silver 350z coupe going down the kingsway near Asdas today at around 16:05.....

I was in a Blue 350z roadster.... I did but I don't think you saw me.......

The reg started with S9 and then 3 letters after it......... 2 of them had RT..........

Azure roadster heading east on Dundee Kingsway about lunchtime. GM Roadster in Muirhead heading towards Coupar Angus 4pm.

recon they seem expsenive tbh, but how does it work in terms of i order them, then you just take your car to the tire place and they fit?

Yes thats right just pick your tyres and then the website will suggest a garage thats nearest........... Don't think £87 is bad though especially with a garantee for replacement if tyre fails etc........ Never used these tyres but cheap enough to give them a go............

Try this website called tyre shopper. All you do is type your reg in and then it gives you a list of tyres that fit your car.

Once you pick the tyres you want, it will then ask you for a postcode for the nearest fitting shop. Sometimes its free fitting as well but if not you will only be paying tops a fiver or so.......... Barum the make is the same as continental as its made in the same factory......

Which was Highly recommended mid range tyre by Auto Express £119 a tyre.............including fitting..........

Not sure what the entry level are like but they are £87 a tyre...........

What happens is the first cover flips up but will not go through the full motion....... and sometimes I have to put the electric seat all the way forward for it to activate..........as the seat would move automatically anyway.......

Another trick I sometimes do is to press the re-set button for the boot release which is in the compartment behind the passenger seat.

Took it to a dealer which was Anuald Clark in Dundee but they had'nt a clue in whats wrong........

Surley you don't have to do this all the time........but the strange thing is sometimes it works no bother but 7 out of 10 times it does'nt.......

Has anyone else experienced this and if so how did you deal with it and what was the problem..........

Yes please Alex as I want to get a few quotes first and wont be getting this done for a couple of months or so............ If its a bit too tricky or if its a bit too on the expensive side then I won't bother but it would be nice to know if it is possible and of course for future zed modders........
