well after 7 weeks,the car has finally been sorted,at last i can drive it without it stuttering,apparently was a mixture of things,plugs,injectors,air flow meter,and gaskets on the throttle bodies,gave it a nice clean today,time to enjoy

its actually with someone at the moment,he seems pretty clued up on these cars,when nissan had it,it showed lambda senor and exhaust flow meter were broke,they were changed,still no good,then nissan changed the plugs,still no good,done all there tests,even involved nissan technical,all they said was,computer showed no problems,even suggested its me,which i know its not,have had performanve cars,and raced cars since i was 16,so know when something isnt right,they told me to fill it with fuel,and put additive in it,which they supplied,and try it for a couple of weeks,total cop out i think,anyway a good friend of mine,with a rolling road,track n road in purfleet,some of you may have heard of them,put me onto the man whos doing it now,so im hoping he can sort it,but its really really pissing me off,hes had it 2 weeks! as i said someone has been told with same problem by nissan that its the ECU,but id have thought that would show on computer,will keep you all informed

where do i start,ive got a stuttering,as you go on the throttle,its been in nissans,they had it 2 weeks,new plugs,lambda,exhaust meter,still not fixed,now its with someone who knows alot about them,hes had it 2 weeks,waiting to hear from him,ive had the car 6 weeks,in that time its been in workshops for 4 weeks,im not having to pay,but its really pissing me off,excuse my french,its even had new plugs,someone has told me they got same problem,and nissan have said hes needs a new ECU,so im just wondering if mine needs the same,its only done 13k,

anyone got any idea how much a new ECU is for a 313 model? and do they pack up often? cheers guys

no not the roadster,did see that in there though,mines temper orange,had one before,used beadles,but had bad expierience with them,was rhinkin about abbey,but the bloke whos looking at it weekend is a mate of a mate,who does remapping on skylines,and hes an hks dealer,seems to know hes stuff,he uses my mates rolling road over at purfleet,so fingers crossed

someone else said air leak,nissan reckon its been pressure tested,its worse when its cold,got someone havin a look at it over the weekend,he does skylines and things like that,based romford,not to far from me,hopefully he will suss it out

just got it back,guess what,still just as bad,they given me a fuel additive to clean the system,im not stupid,know this isnt gona cure it,duno what to do

ive got the same problem,car is in nissans as i type,they have changed lambda sensor,and exhaust sensor,still happened,charged nearly £600,i didnt pay,was done on warranty,now they are changing plugs,cars only done 16k,its showing no faults on their diagnosis machine,they are telling me its because its beenrun low on fuel!!!!

anyone know of a good tuner near chatham,kent,still got this dead spot as i go on the throttle,dont really like beadles the nissan dealer,any suggestions please guys thanks

can the speedo be re calibrated in the zed, my digital one is reading bout 4 mph different to the clock,not a big pro blem but just wondering if it can be done,also the rev limiter is reading different,so say if u set it at 4000 it wud flash at 3500 again not that fussed just curious,and hav got a dead spot,as u feather the throttle,car jerks slightly,then clears,any hep wud be appreciated

well ive bought the orange zed,and so far im very pleased,feels very tight and no knocks underneath,one slight niggle,as im takin up throttle,seems to be a bit of a dead spot,anyone else had this? its a 57 plate with 12,800 mls,im thinking maybe a new set of plugs,or mayb just giv it a bit more throttle

when i had my scooby,all other scooby driver would wave or flash,lights that is lol,does this happen with the zeds????

the only key missing is the valet key,and he has offered to knock £75 off the price to buy one,also hes putting in writing that he will guarantee the clutch for a year,so he seems genuine,its only done 13k,and had a recall in 08 for a clutch problem,have been onto the supplying dealer,everything checks out,think im gona go for it,cheers guys

am seriously thinking of buying 57 plate zed ive been looking at,one thing worrying my mrs is that its only got 2 keys with it,both electric ones,shes worried in case it gets knicked,does anyone have any views on this? it dont bother me to much,also is there an aux point to plug ipod into the later cars? cheers guys

well,i took the car in to have a couple of jobs done,cruise control,rattle underneath,tyre fitted wrong way round,after bein motd the morning i picked it up!all to be done on warranty,anyway 2 days later the technician from the nissan garage i took it to rang me,not the one i bought it from by the way,to tell me they cudnt find the cruise conyrol problem,were goin to have to go deeper into lookin at things,and also told me,the bonnnet,bumper,wings, and lights had all been removed at some time,they cudnt find the rattle,and they were goin to have the car a while b4 i cud hav it back,to which i replied i dont want it back after hearing all that.so to cut a lomg story short its gone,as for the new one im looking at,its not the one at s2000 4 u, is that a dodgy one? its on pistonheads,engage gear,hav a look tell me what u reckon guys,cheers

well the lovely red 350 zed i bought went back yesterday,gutted,but in a way glad i found out early enought to send it back,anyway im now looking at a temper orange car,13000 miles,2007,all seems very nice,its 14,995.does it seem a reasonable buy? or a bit expensive,appreciate your views guys,ive had so much bad luck with these cars,but still love em lol,so aint gona give up just yet!!!!

well what can i say,after taking my zed into nissans yesterday,for cruise control,rattle underneath,steering alignment,rear tyre on round wrong way,was motd like that!,running bit lumpy,and a dodgy speaker,had a technician ring me today to tell me,they cant find the cruise control fault,gotta keep searching,and cant find the rattle underneath,done all the usual searches,what they did tell me was that the bonnet,wings,lights and bumper,had all been off in the past,and suspension parts had been replaced,as you can imagine im gutted,so,have told the dealer i bought it off of that i dont want it anymore,obviously not there fault,god me and 350zs dont have a lot of luck,should i just give up?

i seem to have a crackle with the rear speaker,only intermittent,and when very loud,anyone know where i can get one?and are they easyish to fit? cheers
