  1. I haven't got a cut off date for entries.. but once they are happy with up to 30, I guess then that will be a done deal which could be within a couple of months as I have had loads of entries. I will update this once they say they have there 30 and they want to stick with that. However if for any reason anyone can not attend the date etc then I will ask them to choose a few more than 30 just incase and they can choose the back up options... guess thats better than a no.

Sorry to those of you who aren't successful but perhaps you can come as a passenger and still enjoy a fun day.

  2. Hey all, I have been attending JAE for many many years and it is a great show, thanks so much for posting this up and inviting us on this stand, great idea!!

I myself may not be able to make this years one however. I will know nearer the time so I will keep my eye on this

  3. Hey all,

This is a special post about a Nissan event day. I am very honoured to be getting involved with and attending. I have requested that I bring some of you along with me :D I can bring up to 30 of you if your Nissan is what they are looking for. Just want to highlight I will not be choosing the cars, they will, but I will be coordinating us and sending them your car photo.

I can not post more details up on here as they want this to remain a private event for Nissan, and not out on the public domain.

I will PM you all about it more if they select your car, then I will fill you in fully :) I appreciate without knowing a date or location is a pain! But if you are selected I can let you know very very soon- perhaps in a couple of weeks so you shouldn't be waiting to find out too long

So, if you fancy a special day out with Nissan in July and you have one of the following please PM me a photo of your car.

    1) Modified Nissans

    2) Track Nissans & very fast ones

    3) Drifters

    4) Datsuns

If you are selected I will send you an entry letter explaining all which will also be your ticket to get in.

I have already asked and a passenger is OK to bring along.

Just to mention again as it really is important - only members who are invited can come along. It is a private event not open to the public.

Also if you are selected please do not post up on here the details. I don't mind you saying you have been selected, but that is all.

I am very sorry to those of you who's Zeds don't match any of the four criteria above.

For any of you with a few modifications but you don't consider it like a full on show car - Please send me a PM with a photo of your car ! Even if you're assuming they won't pick yours, please do because it would be a shame not to ask- you never know! Also there is 30 spaces for this. So just to clarify modified may not have to mean really modified!! it just means not totally standard. I will be doing my best for all of you

Looking forward to getting your PMs and a photo of your car. If I don't reply for a few days don't worry it doesn't mean you haven't been successful, I am sometimes not able to come online every single day. Also Nissan may take a little while to choose (perhaps a week or two.)

  5. Supercar Siege, Sunday 17th May 2015 - Leeds Castle, Kent

    [url=[/url]

Hi everyone, I attended this show last year and it was brilliant , such a lovely location / back drop and settling ! Really great atmosphere and some very rare and incredible cars!

I will secure us a 10 car stand , if we get more names down I will ask them nicely if we could have more cars but please don't assume, I will need to ask.... It's a first come first served basis on this stand which I will organise for 350z-uk , you do need to pay for the ticket prior to the event, I will put those details up soon also. It is £10 a car which covers all your passengers too so excellent value as the public visiting Leeds Castle usually pay £24 for the day! THIS IS NOW A 20 CAR STAND see post 31.

Kindly hosted by Leeds Castle (Kent) and in support of Royal Navy & Royal Marines Children's Fund we aim to expand on what has proven to be a popular fixture to the supercar calendar.

For those of you who missed the last few years’ events, we have a basic concept for the show, we invite a select amount of clubs to come and display their cars within the castle grounds in return for a small charity donation. The clubs will also be joined by a number of manufacturing trade stands showing off their latest models. We then throw in some amazing food vendors as well as some traders, add a Navy/Army Air Corps helicopter and let Leeds Castle do what it does best, add an amazing backdrop for the whole event.

The show is targeted unapologetically as a family day, a chance for those who love cars to come out in force and spend the day looking around the varied selection of makes and models we have put together as well as exploring the fantastic sights and activities Leeds Castle has to offer.

The 2013 show had 4000 visitors come through the castle gates, the 2014 event had 6500 people enter which was amazing even by the castle standards.

We aim to smash that record for 2015.

The day is open to all and will have a relaxed family focused feel to it, highlights include:

700 cars ranging from iconic hatch backs to hyper cars and everything in between.

[*] Small traders’ village selling items specifically targeted towards the car enthusiast.

[*] A selection of food vendors who have been chosen for their amazing offerings.

[*] Dream Rides of approx 10 miles in a variety of stunning cars, courtesy of the Sporting Bears in return for a charity donation.

[*] A huge array of children's activities including an incredible play park, face painting and falconry displays.

[*] Static HM Navy/Army Air Corps Helicopter, *Apache currently booked in but subject to change.

[*] Access to tour the stunning Castle and grounds which can take all day to get around if you do it properly.

    Prices are as follows:

Static car display/club display pass is £10.

This covers all passengers in the vehicle (max 4 pax).

The normal entry prices for Leeds Castle are £24 per adult and £18.50 per child so this is a huge saving for a family day out.

Online donations for clubs stand passes will be going live in March with the cut-off point being the start of May.

We are seeking your help to raise much needed money for a charity that does fantastic work with children affected by bereavement, illness or disability or complications from service life.

Having discussed the club stand with the forum staff, we are happy to say we have provisionally set aside 10 club stand spaces for you. This can of course be revised closer to the date.

    Points to note:

After a few bad apples at the last show we are asking for a self-policing policy for the clubs in attendance.

We are working on a 3 strike rule, with those leaving early, anti-social behaviour etc gaining a mark which will result in the club will be penalised.

Although this sounds harsh, we had one club turn up at 08:00hrs and then decided to leave at 11:00hrs leaving a gaping hole in the display lineup.

This is a charity event where you are displaying your cars for the public to view. You are donating £10 and for that you get entry to an amazing event/location.

We think it's a pretty fair deal as do 99% of those who attend.

With that in mind we have the following guidelines that we ask all those attending to follow:

    • All cars must be on the stand by 08:00hrs and remain in place until 16:30hrs. This has been agreed with the venue and we have no say in moving these times due to the large number of visitors.
    • No revving of engines. There is a vast array of wildlife in the castle grounds including Peacocks which distress easily as well as very young children who don't appreciate having a Monaro engine revved as they walk past.
    • No pets are allowed within the castle grounds unless it is a service/assistance animal.
    • No sound systems (inside or outside the cars).
    • No marquees are allowed to be erected. Floor and flag banners are allowed but will need to be weighted correctly.
    • No BBQ's or cooking allowed within the castle grounds.

As per the last 2 threads on this forum, please add your name and car make/model to the list if you are hoping to attend and we will update when the donation site goes live.

Any questions please feel free to ask,

I will start a list 1-10 if more please add your name ... I will see if we can get more spaces but it is not guaranteed at all.

  6. Brighton seafront car show organised by Ace Cafe London SAT 25TH APRIL 10am-6pm (probably need to be on stand for 9am)

We had our first stand at this last year and I believe we all had a lovely sunny day out there. Lots of club stands and if the cars, pebble beach and sea view isn't enough you can always go for a wander around the Pier / arcades/ shops!

10am-6pm (I will confirm at a later date the time we need to have our cars on the stand for ... ahead of the public coming in and looking around.)

I have a stand booked for 350z-uk, all Zeds welcome but I only have 20 spaces ! which is not many so first come first served basis and you do need to stay on the stand all day and not need to leave early (unless emergancy.)

They run a show and shine competition which is announced all at the end... My Zed won car of show last year "Ace's pick" :D

I will start the list - We need names and reg's to send to them as they'll give me stand passes for you all with reg's on.

    MOD EDIT.

Guys, we had a couple of instances last year when meets were arranged and people let the organisers down at the very last minute, unfortunately Amy was affected by this on one occassion. Please, please remember that members like Amy go out of thier way to arrange these meets for all of OUR benefit. We don't have to do ANYTHING other than put our names down and turn up. If you have any doubts about attending DO NOT put your name on the list, especially for meets like this one where numbers are limited. We all understand that life does get in the way some times which means that you can't attend, if this happens please let Amy know as soon as you can, please do not leave it until the last minute to cancel unless it is absolutely unavoidable, i.e. exceptional circumstances.

    Thank you

The car park has 50 spaces only for us Zed's, all Zeds welcome old and new ;) the only thing is make sure to get your name down on the list to secure your space as once 50 spaces are gone you'll have to park up on the road outside. If your name is down and you can't make it- PLEASE amend the list so someone else can come. I need all names AND reg's on the list by Wed 18th March to email over to Ace.
