You could try Aquasure.
it is a waterproof Urethane Adhesive and works well.
Any repair will not be pretty but this stuff is very effective.
Give it a go and let us know how you get on.
Thanks as ever! You’re a star.
will give it a go and report back with pics.

If you want a proper job then a new hood is required I am afraid, however, if you are not fussed about appearance then it could be patched over, but it will not be pretty.
Best to get a new Mohair IMHO.
Hi Alex , for the little use the car gets ( and garaged winter) I’m just going to patch up. Could you Poss recommend a strong adhesive to stick the corners down?
thanks Yas

Hi
did you manage to sort the tears at the base of the hood? I have the same issue and am looking to try and solve too
hope you’re enjoying the car!

Without even doing anything, people shaking fists, wnkr signals, vocal abuse, really particularly noticed it on first buying compared with all other sports cars I've had.

Never any issues with the Z.
Also have a Cayman S and constantly get completely unwarranted grief and hostility in that, ... like I care

Hi did the wheels and tyres go?

With the roof in the half-open position, remove the vinyl cover and inspect for anything loose or untoward.
Then spray silicone on all the contact edge faces where the hood meets the body and apply white spray grease on all moving mechanical parts.
Cheers

Any advice please? Silicone on all the joints or something else - grease?
-
Ja!

OK thks, but the noise apears to be from where the roof mech is stored behind the driver- ie the collapsed metal frame
-
no noise when operating, just when driving
cheers

Am noticing alot more noise when the roof is stored- I think squeaking from the roof mech. 52k on the clock. any suggestions please?

Hi
after 8 years my exhaust has blown (mid section as far as I can hear)
I really like the sound of the original OEM on my 2008 313 GT Roadster so do not want to change to anything that sounds different. Other than Nissan dealers do you know where I can get a proper OEM part fitted/supplied?
I am based in Christchurch Dorset, but sometimes travel to Watford area.
thks

Or rather needs to be taken off the road for all our sakes...If you deliberately initiated a 4th gear, 100mph+ drift on the road and nailed it then you need to start looking at drift competitions - I did 8 odd years and I doubt I could pull that off ...........

I've found MPS2 and MPSS way better than the RE050s (the Bridgestons annoyingly always used to trigger the traction control) Michelins drive much more fluidly and stick to the road.

I got mine from ASDA last week they were £545.19 fitted for all 4.
They were fitted today by Setyres. I took an hour to fit then another hour to argue the price as the garage didn't want to honour the price... .
Took 3 phone calls to ASDA to get it sorted. ASDA were brilliant about it. The guy behind the desk at the garage though... He needs some anger managment lessons.
The ASDA code is 140 then 7 random numbers in the coupon box. Its 10% off all sales
Suspect Asda can offer a lower price by screwing the fitters (more near slave labour for the corp)

245-45-18 or 225-45-18 MPSS wanted
thanks
