  4. Hi guys, Any thought on getting this moving? Cant do the Nurburgring trip as I'm away, like I mentioned anyone interested in a normal meet on a Sunday afternoon for example?
  5. Really p1ssed I cant make this. However if anything changes last minute I will meet you at the ring. I'll pitch a tent if I have to
  6. Thats tomorrows job mate. Cheers again

  8. Haha good work there Danny. Wookie as you have prob guessed I need a quick fix on this, would be very interested in having them off you. If you can let me know details soonest that would be great. If a light borrow is ok with you and there is no other feasible solution I would be very gratefull. PM me with your thoughts and we can sort something out. Cheers fellas once again
  9. Hi there all, hopefully somebody can help me out. Firstly the car, I have a 2004 (04) UK spec GT. I bought the car slightly modified and am finding more mods all the time. Can somebody tell me what headlights I should have, i.e halogen, HID or xenon? They have a blue tint to the edge of the beam and a 4 pin connector if that helps? I need to have LHD lights fitted to conform to the British Army Germany rules. I got a set of LHD lights from Holland, these have conventional halogen bulbs and a 3 pin connector. Can I remove the wiring anf associated bits from my UK lights and fit them to the replacements? I am totally threaders with it at the mo, if I dont get this sorted the car will sit on the drive and not move, because it wont be allowed on camp. I am considering selling it as I wont let it rot outside the house, I dont really want to sell by the way. Any help would be appreiciated guys. Many thanks, Rob
  10. I'd be interested in that mate, the wifes XC60 does it and it annoys me that the Z dont
  11. Problem is mate I live out and need a daily driver, it aint BFG'd coz of the lights and Gutersloh are a pain in the ass. Wont be able to get it on camp basically. As its a 04 car, I thought it should have halogen lights, are mine aftermarket? If yes then a re-wire may be an option
  12. Dunno if they can be re-wired to be honest, would have to remove all the xenon kit from the UK lights, the connector on the new ones have a 3-pin socket where the original ones have 4-pin. Do you reckon it would be a big job? When do you think you will be removing your LHD ones, I am thinking of selling the car if I cant get something sorted. Not something I want to do by the way
  13. Have you a link or something for them? I got a set from holland but have found out they are for halogen cars not xenon. Cheers
  14. Cant say on here how pi**ed off i was LOL
  15. Ah, got it now I think? Red and black on the cable to the power on the head-unit loom, and I take it the red+white connectors are cropped off and soldered to the PCB in the head-unit like in the other thread?
  16. Hi there, Can you go into a bit more detail how you did this? I have looked at the original thread and that makes sense, where did you get the power from? Sorry to sound like a mong but I want to do this but want to be totally sure I understand before ripping the car apart. Cheers
  17. Yep totally simple once its in front of me. Is it me or is it a right pain in the ass to take of the bumper? The bolts that hold the bumper to a bracket were the most difficult. As it turns out was a complete waste of time as my replacement lights are the wrong ones !
  18. Hi guys, My headlights have a 4-pin electrical connector, am I right in saying I have Xenons fitted? I have a set of LHD lights that have a 3-pin connector, I'm assuming this is standard halogen? What cars were fitted with each type of light? Cheers guys, Rob
  19. Okey Dokey Off to do it now then, hopefully wont be on here later after new bits to replace my broken bits LOL.
  20. Hi there, Taking the front bumper off to replace the headlights, all the guides dont mention the headlight washers. Do the covers just slide off or is there a trick to it? Dont want to go wading in and break them LOL. Cheers, Rob
  21. It's bloody loud, when it gets to about 3500 - 4000 rpm its frickin sweeeeet. A grand was a surprise LOL. Wont be selling it tho guys.
  22. Cheers for the info guys, Got to admit, was pretty pleased when I saw it LOL
  23. Hi there guys, Got under the car for the first time this weekend, imagine my surprise when I saw my exhaust has Veilside stamped all over it and appears to be fully titanium. So whats the best way to clean it as I've suddenly got a feeling to clean it properly. Also out of interest how much do these things change hands for? Cheers, Rob
  24. Not gonna make it I'm afraid guys, bugger.
  25. Can't do that weekend unfortunatly fellas. Shame. However if anyone finds themselves at the ring over a weekend just let me know. Rob
