do a general web search on s2000 4u. Not to put fear into your purchase but some people have had bad dealings with them just look on the s2000 forums and you will have some idea.
But then again you are buying the car and not the salesman! good luck with hunt

Was uber foggy but noticed the nice big cans from the rear!
Was quite musical with the bungs on so I hate to imagine what it would be like without the bungs!
-
EBURU black and MONTERAY Blue!!! WTF!!
-
I dont get S20004U. They relist stuff on pistonheads and Autotrader that have already been sold!
What is the point in that?
-
I think all (or some) dealers are bad to a point but I think you have to remember that you are buying the car and not the dealer or salesman
-
My God these guys are optimistic aren't they???

Nice! One of my fav colours!
Did a good job of blanking out the banner behind the car!
They still have it listed for sale?!?! What it the mileage of it if you dont mind me asking?
-
Beautiful example! Where did you find you car if you dont mind me asking. I'm still on the hunt and my only resource is Autotrader and Pistonheads
-
You will find that even the S2000 requires the key in order to start it with the button! ONly thing you cannot do in the S2000 is use they key to turn over

This wouldn't be the one from Arnold Clark? They had one of same spec with only 18K!
Yeh it is, I was a bit wary of buying from AC as I've heard a few bad reports but I got the car checked over and it's mint. The bloke who had it hardly used it and I was told he was a bit older than the average Zed driver, he px'ed it for a Lexus.
The car so far seems mint but the same can't be said for AC's customer service, I wouldn't recommend!
Well I think you are buying the car and not the dealer so who cares!! Thats was a bargain price! Did you manage to negotiate any more off? I noticed they were doing £300 off vouchers too.
If I had sold my car I would have gone for that at the given price! Only problem is now I've seen a car that can be sold at that price every other car I have seen seems unattractive at the asking price!

Excellent find! Where did you search for such car? (Autotrader? Pistonhead?)
Did you negotiate money off the car if you dont me mind me asking?

I got some lightly smoked ones from Fleabay and am very happy with them. Just had to change the connector from US to UK type.
Just noticed the S2000 in the background!! Littel greedy with the cars are we? lol

Cool thanks for the info!
How much did you or do you reckon you can haggle from these dealers if you dont mind me asking?
Cheers

I've seen a 350z I like on S2000 4U. Is it really not worth buying through them?
Oh its this one: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1326617.htm

I've had a look round the forum and nothing has caught my eye as of yet.
Still mooching around on PH and Autotrader

Well if you would be interested in coming across, i can post up pics this weekend and write out a list of what it has. Its 2003 with around 43k on the clock. Would be looking around the 13k mark or nearest offer.
If you got pics that would be a good start then if interested more then happy to go accross the shores

Welcome to the form. I will be putting my car up soon. Live in Northern Ireland though. What you looking for? I see the one you were looking at is Blue and mine is Gunmetal Grey.
Gunmental, Black and orange are the other colours I am considering
-
True, there are plenty of examples at the £10K mark of similar mileage and age. I'm in no rush to sell my S2000 as mine is a mint example.
If S doesn't sell its no big deal but it means no Z!

Hi Everyone
Looking for a Zed at the mo so in other words switching for S to Z
Currently driving round in a S2000. Nothing wrong with it but I dont really drive it around much as I walk to work and need something a little easier to live with on a day to day basis.
I know at least one person on this forum (MadMarky and the good ol Klassik days, he'll know what I mean!)
I found a few I am eyeing up on and not sure if allowed to do this but WRT
I thought WOW this ticks all the boxes and a decent price but the owner neglected to point out it is a CAT C car! So anyone else looking save yourself the HPI check!
So the hunt continues!

Hey Rbiscuit... I've just sold my 2006 S2000 thursday just gone and looking for a 350z (have been for a while lol)
You wont be disappointed with an S2000 and whilst it was fun revving to 9K RPM and if your are not in VTEC region the engine sometimes feels a little lethargic unlike the 350 where you put your foot down and away it goes but bear in mind both car have very different ways of delivering power
Other than the obvious (mechanical and bodywork) to look out for. Pay attention to the roof. Check on the inside where the linkage bars are to see if there is anything torn or rubbing as roof is expensive to replace.
REV4 (Black centre console) is Drive by wire system, has different wheels and headrests
REV3 (Silver CC) is not DBW but majority of rev3 will be pre-supercar tax band!
I sold because I started not to take the car out for social drives as I work so close to work and got bike from cycle scheme. The only time I used it was to go see my rents at the weekend and even then I would pootle about in it out of VTEC
My only real pet hate about the car is when the roof leaks after heavy rain but that was easily remidied by keeping seals siliconed
Happy hunting anyway! I was absolutely gutted to see my car go!
