  1. I've seen BCs recommended a couple of times. Anyone had them long enough to express an opinion on their quality?
  2. Do ARBs actually improve the cornering ability, or just the feel when cornering? With good suspension geometry, you shouldnt get a real benefit from them and my impression is that 350z's have pretty good geometry to begin with .
  3. Passed you on the slip for the exit at J9. Saw you following me all the way to Falcon Lodge. I was a bit slow and noisy because my exhaust pipe had just sheared!
  4. Thanks guys. It's nice to see someone is listening! I guess I'm looking in to suspension upgrades already!
  5. Come on guys! I can't believe that no-one has any thought on it!
  6. Really nice! A lot of work has gone in to that What are you going to do about the front plate? The standard fitting looks naff (imho) and would really spoil yours.
  7. ................ the standard shocks last? As I've got more used to mine (nearly a month now ) I'm wondering if they are starting to show some wear. The car skips and bounces a little, not badly, but it doesn't feel quite as planted as newer ones I tried. That could be because I'm pushing a bit more than I dared on test drives, though . Car is a '55 that has done about 44k. Any views?
  8. Hi all, and thanks for the welcomes. I know! Well, my meeting with Dave (nurrish) was to take ownership of his now superfluous Kinetix plenum. I'm thinking mild mods at the moment; induction, exhaust & a map, maybe. My "other car" is a supercharged MX5 with a built engine that should run at just under 300bhp when I get it all sorted. The 350z is my daily car so I don't plan to do too much to it (at the moment). The trouble with hanging out somewhere like this is that the ideas are too hard to resist ......
  9. Hi guys (and gals). I've been lurking for a while and the 350z for a couple of week but didn't dare post up here until I had some pictures to show and, with the weather being so bad, that's taken a while! Car is a (currently) standard 2005 in Gunmetal, with the usual quota of stone chips and now some scuffs in the lacquer where a large branch landed on the bonnet when I was doing 60 down a country lane last week Hoping that they will polish out, although I don't think the worst one will. I'm West Midlands based, live in Sutton Coldfield and work in Coventry, so hope to meet some more local owners before too long (I've already met nurrish ) Ian
