my car came with an apexi air filet and all the brackets ect to fit it, think it cost about £140 new, could do with a clean but otherwise perfectly ok, id like to swap it for a complete standard airbox inculding the mounts ect,basically everything you would remove to fit this filter, it must be in good condition and fit a 2003 car, not really looking to directly sell it just swap it if another member would like to, cheers, ill update with a pic asap

yeah tyre shops dont like repairing tyres with tyre weld stuff in them as its very messy and its hard to completly remove it to get the bung to stick, also depending on where the punture is they may not repair it anyway

ok guess thats not so bad then as ive not lost quite as much as i thought but sadly never had as much as i thought i did in the first place...
im guessing running with out the remapped ecu and having warm as fook intake temps would be the answer as to why im down on power

ive just bought 6 Denso iridium power IKH20 plugs for £40.17 all in, im pleased anyway
think they retail at full price in euro parts for £11.29 each!!!

its a 2003 import 350z, i know its a gt model but i was told it was the 296 version??? it only had 2 dynod runs, it was just a cheap dyno day not a tune up session ect.
fair point it may need 6 or 7 runs but whats the point of that for a road car then? the figures mite be more reliable but its just not realistic of actually being on the road?

right and also i went and spoke to the bloke today as i couldnt figure out why it was so low,
1, he dyno'd it in 3rd not 4th
2, he opened my bonnet and saw the apexi filter and said i should have run with my bonnet up, but it was closed at the time on the dyno...
3, he said he thinks my car needs a remap to run right with my mods
so atleast ive got something to work on i guess?

yeah wheels were left on the car, i literally drive the car onto the rollers, strapped it down and he did 2 power runs, everything seemed fine and just as it should be, i noticed on the printout that the car was pulling right up to the limiter and hit a top speed of 79mph, (as i thought the limiter was at 6500 not 6250...) if it maxed out at 79 mph tho did that mean he did it in third? gonna change the plugs today...

100% gonna get abbey to do it, gonna change the plugs and hopefully get a plenum spacer this month, then sort something out with abbey the month after

yeah its a full system (not inculding manifold odviuosly), that was at the flywheel i beleive, as there were fiesta turbos and corsa turbos making 300bhp easily...
that was at frost motorsport in ipswich, not sure what gear he dyno'd it in tho, if that makes a differance?

dunno seems quite common that alot of zeds have bad dyno readings, sems a shame i have to spend nearly £400 on an ecu remap just to make figures close to what nissan state as standard... ill definatly do it as i love my car but it really is putting it to the test

my car dynod at 240bhp today, its surpost to have 296bhp how suck is that, its an early imports which is still limited, its got a fubjisubo exhuast, apexi filer and decat pipes, what figure could I realistically get to? to say i was dissapointed with 240hp would be a small understatment...

the guy said it mite be like the bmws, where the ecy sences the front wheels arnt moving and limits the total power output, but ive never heard anything like that before? so assuming its bs... yeah im gonna look into how much its costs for a proper re-map that removes the limiter too

went and watched my mate dyno his kit car with a fireblade engine in it, loads of cars being dyno'd fiestas and saxos etc... thought yeah id stick mine on, very ones asking what power I reckon'd it should be and what im expecting, so i said anything over 270bhp... being an early jap import (300GT model, the cars has a full service history with 37,000miles on it) with a fubjisubo exhaust and apexi filter i was really hoping for about 305 bhp, which i would be very pleased with, everyone crouded around as it looked alot smarter than most of the cars there 240.7bhp!!!! what a cop, thats is totally crap, and admitadly i felt quite a knob
i know the car is still limited to 120mph as its an import but its converted to mph not kph, i reckon im about 20% down on power, i know it needs new plugs soon but could that make so much differance? what else could limit the car to the point of losing 60bhp over standard? quite cheesed off tbh....

thats correct there is only 1 shade of b17 azure, ive had parts sprayed by 3 differant bodyshops and every part is a perfect colour match, the colour has alot or perul in it but should be fine to match in

really do not like that green edge on yuor wheels tho, just a small red pinstrip would look much better but thats just IMO
