1979 Mitsubishi Sapporo GSR
This car has been fully rebuilt to a very high standard, most of the work done by the previous owner of 13 years, the car is very well known in the Retro Car scene as is its previous owner Stuart Izzard, I personally have owned the car for about 8 months and need to sell the car for financial reasons…
The car has just been MOT’d for 12 months and was taxed this month for 6 months, The car has been very well looked after and every detail has been well documented on the retro-rides.org website.
The engine has recently had a full rebuilt and has covered approximately 7000 miles since faultlessly, Car comes with a huge folder full of receipts for everything.
The car is fitted with WORK Xcel wheels 14x7.5 which are very rare and in mint condition wrapped in Yokohama Tyres . The car has also been fitted with air ride, you can manually adjust the front and rear suspension separately, The front lights are tinted with film which can easily be removed if not to new owners taste, I’m also willing to relocate the exhaust back to the stock position if required
Details can be found here

The car has recently been fitted with a cat 1 alarm and immobiliser with certificate and spare fobs and keys
As you can see from the pictures the car is of a very high standard. Its has been featured in 4 different magazines and is regularly pictured in retro cars magazine.
The car has No rust and is mechanically perfect, the engine has just been serviced with new oil, plugs and air filter, I also had the carbs re-set up so its running 100% perfectly as always and giving approx 30 miles to the gallon on a long run, the car is used as a daily drive by myself and I’ve loved every minute of it.
The car will also come with a front spoiler that I have had custom made it really suits the era of the car, really does look smart, just got to get it painted and fitted.
Mitsubishi Sapporo’s are getting very rare and had to come by nowadays as many have simply rotted away, as far as I’m aware this is the best Mitsubishi Sapporo in the country, you only have to type in Sapporo GSR on goggle and nay picture of this car pop up, its had a few sets of wheels fitted thought out the years but it’s the same car
There’s so much I could say about the car Id be here all-day, if you have any questions ill do my best to answer them or find out for you.
I'm looking for £SOLD ovno for this car its well worth it if not more
Here’s a few pics, hundreds more available online and on one of the many websites the car has been features on, like retro-rides, Japanese nostalgic, Retro cars…

the only company i have seen that make cages for the 350 is cusco, do they make just a rear cage or is that pointless? i do the occasional track day but nothing that would warrant a full welded in cage as i also use my car daily and the would just be a pita
-
sorry, hope they turn up, ill keep my eyes open on all the sites i go on for ya
-
me too, quite fancy some cheap nismo skirts lol
-
ok, ive got quite a few pics, any idea what section to put it in?
-
was just an idea as my mates bought all the setup to make exhausts ect, he built a cage for his 205 mess-about/track car and a couple of people locally want show cages for their dubs, i was pondering the idea for the 350? lol but dont think ill bother now lol
-
You'd be surprised at how famous and well known that car is, it been mag featured 6 times and is on a huge amount of websites, gets alot of attension from europe too
-
yea, was just trying to think of how you could make it flush
-
I used to love the tinted headlight on my sapporo lowrider, i used yellow window tint and each light took 5 minutes lol
not sure its something i would to to the 350 tho,
-
could you not have the bolt tacked from the back then ground the head flush? just an idea?
-
.....

a 'show cage' is pretty much exactly what it says, its basically a rear half roll cage, built from light metal to perform the function of looking like a roll cage, much cheaper and lighter than a real welded in cage
why not fit a gtr badge at the same time
why dont you suck my balls
-
surly the body shop will be liable tho if they left them out side to dry?
-
hiya, in the process of fitting my tein springs, so have a set of original springs, they were removed from my 2003 import, cars done 40k
think i read somewhere that the springs on imports are a bit stiffer than the uk cars?
looking for £65 posted, cheers
-
The new spoiler is and 'INGS' style spoiler, imported from japan
Only thing i got done today after work was lowering the back of the car, as the tein spring are only about -14mm shouldnt cause an issue
driven it back from work earlyer, looked at it again and 1 side seems a bit higher than the other but i think that mite be my driveway, ill get some pics somewhere flat tonight

i saw this a couple days ago but i think id rather have a complete lip than just a centre cover, thats the only reason i didnt bid
how much was it new?
-
if they are forged and with those tyres id say there worth around a £1000, as they are new and the 370s havnt been out long, once they get a bit more common like the 350s the value will go down, i actually reall like them
