Hi guys, Hope all is well. This place looks very different!! I had my MOT done a few weeks ago, and on it they noted: The garage that I use have mentioned this to me previously, and said I'd pop in so they could point out to me exactly which piece needs attention/replacing but I've just not got around to it. I've just had my car serviced by Nissan today, and they noted: So obviously I want to get this seen to. Nissan have quoted me quite a lot to fix, but I wanted to get a feel for: - Exactly what this part is - what sort of prices I should be paying - If I can get any aftermarket upgraded parts instead I have google'd this afternoon and can't really find anything which is described as the above that pin points exactly what this item is, does anyone know? I believe the part number is 74870CD2000 but I have no way of searching or referencing this unfortunately. Any help much appreciated! Cheers,

I guess i should have included what I'll be using the car for in the first post. The car won't be used on track, it will just be used on the road. I don't drive it every day, but generally it is for spirited road use. I'm still not too sure on the benefit of each part though if I'm honest. I can see the benefit for something like track use, but will I see much difference for road use? Especially things like the braided lines etc. Cheers,

Hi guys, I've searched around the forum for a while now, and whilst there is a wealth of information here, I can't seem to find the simple bits which link the more detailed information together. In short, I currently have a UK GT 350z with brembos. Everything is standard brake wise, and they are next on the list of parts to get some TLC. But, I'm struggling to answer some of the more simple questions so hopefully someone could help! Thanks in advance, Calipers: I assume that the brembos are decent enough spec without spending lots of £££s? Pads: What is considered the best option to fit with the Brembo Calipers? Is there any differences between the main brands or do they differ completely? Dics: Again, I see lots of different things mentioned on here, but nowhere which really describes the difference. I'd like to get some new discs all around, and wouldn't mind paying a little extra for something nice as long as I felt it was worthwhile (especially with a new set of pads). Brake lines: I read a few people installed some new (braided?) brake lines, does this make a big difference? Or is it something which is definately worth doing when changing the above? Hi mate. Mine didn't, but I had an uprev remap done at the time of fitting. I believe if you buy a set of sensor spacers ( ) then you won't get any fault codes. Diameter, I'm not sure if i'm honest. Just the standard size. I'll try and head out to measure them for you later. Cheers,

Absolutely non I was lowered 30mm on Eibach springs too. The rears sit just away from the lip on the rear aches so no arch rolling needed. Likewise, the fronts sit perfectly on the front arches and full lock without any issues. Cheers,

This worries me now as I'm going to get one of these invidia exhausts FYI, the berks HFCs come with gaskets for both ends, so i guess thats one set covered. Not sure on the ones half way down the down pipes...
