  1. As some of you know Mr Paulie was lucky enough to win a trip to the Mclaren Technology Centre. :yahoo:

    He got to see a lot more than he thought but some sections were strictly no cameras. He says he felt sorry for a guy on the nightshift that must have forgot to read the memo about the visit and strolled down the corridor holding what looked like a section of the new rear wing for Silverstone only to duck into a room and hit the frosted glass button!

    Anyway, here are his pics

  2. Here are some photos from our week at the Lakes - not many and all taken on phone so not my usual artistry :lol:

    Custard did manage to move - eventually on Monday :lol: and we had a few good drives and I even let Mr Paulie drive one of the days.. what a good wife I am eh!

    The Honnister Pass was fab including the police escort right behind us ;) I did also manage to scar Vicky for life when I tried to skim a stone and somehow managed to hit her smack on the chin with it :headhurt: there was blood and everything... Sorry Vicky x After that, I was not allowed to fling anything :thumbdown:

    Some have sneaked in also from the Lakes meet :lol: Jay Z you left your mankini in the cottage and here was I thinking you were sooo attached to it - Nismo has it on now :lol: Had a great time and us Scots were in our usual good form :drunk:

    Nixy great to finally meet you and I think your the only one that appreciated my singing :teeth: not sure you had a choice though :lol::lol:

  3. May I add my thanks to everyone who helped organise the weekend but especially Martin and Liz for letting me stay in their house which was a very kind gesture. Thanks also to Vik for the sausage and mash - as ever the hostess with the mostess! Was nice to see the usual old faces and some new ones too. Oh and if anyone hadn't realised - Paulie has TWO yes TWO medals for Karaoke! This looks like being a good annual event.

    Paulie + Karaoke = :thumbdown::lol:

    + infinity!

    We should have let Nismo have a shot!

    Well well Maw is back on the t'internet and I am shocked and saddened and sobbing into my vodka :help::excl:

    I looked after all my bairns at the weekend, and I think I adopted a few more over the weekend - always made sure you were fed and watered.... well ok, watered with the special stuff :lol: and this is how you repay me - slagging off my wunderful singing (Captain George at least you appreciate my singing hence my new "Kylie" nickname). Anyway, I can take that you don't appreciate my talent but I will soldier on regardless :band:

    Great weekend (well week for us) and really enjoyed seeing all the fab cars and meeting their owners. Lots of fun was had (with a wee drink or two along the way).

    Nismo loved it - Stew you were his favourite I'm sure - and he is happy to be home after being the centre of attention. Need to wrestle his t-shirt off him to get it in the wash...

    Will post up the few pics I have soon (well Mr Paulie will ;) )

  4. Aw how handsome is Bramble - that was the name of my last dog, she was an English Pointer, mad as a brush..

    Hope Bramble gets on with Nismo :drunk: recently all dogs just want to attack him and all he wants to do is play :boxing: He's just a baby, only 8 months and 5 1/2 stone :dummy::lol: Anybody want a hot fur blanket for their tent :lol:

  5. how come he has only shed his white hair?

    lovely dog. was going to get one myself but they need too much walking, stuck with labradors, they just run around the garden and they're happy.

    Thats his undercoat coming out. They have double coats. He will do that twice a year.

    I love those dogs. I hear a they are famous for becoming quite destructive to furniture etc, had any issues? I have a boxer myself and he's very boisterous even at 4-5 years old. He needs a good 2 hours of exercise a day.

    Nothing so far but he is only 9 months old. He loves being outside (we have to drag him in at nights) so cant say the garden has survived (Just ask the G Man after he visited his garden :lol: )

  6. :nono::lol:

    He thought about naming the place, but as they are not theirs to sell there is no point of them getting bombarded with calls. But we do promise to point the guy this way if he calls.

  7. Mr Paulie took our Zed up to a get a quote on our refurbing our 19' LMGT4s. He was explaining that he has had more offers on our wheels than the car.

    So the guy was looking round them, gave him the quote and then suddenly says 'You know, I think we have a set of these in the back'

    So he goes hunting in the back shop and sure enough there they where buried under other alloys gathering dust.

    Says the guy came in and replaced them then left them behind unsure what to do with them. That was eight months ago :surrender: !

    He doesnt have a number for the guy but says he comes in every now and then. Mr Paulie left his number in case he wants to sell them.
