  1. Ferodo, Cosworth, EBC all do pads for brembo calipers. Horsham suplied my cosworth sm pads. The price varies and some are described as "track" pads.

Alex, MWtech, Horsham plus others supply pads have a look in the traders section.

  2. Hi folks harewood have sent me another e-mail. They obviously are very disapointed this is te first time they have had to postpone the show.

The best thing to do is probably post out the tickets now i have time to. So if you have not already can you let me have your address via pm.

    Thanks

  3. Once I have contacted Harewood what i may do guys is to post the tickets out to you all so you have the freedom to pass them on to other members once the rescheduled dates have come through.

To that end could you please respond to the PM you have recently had with the address you would like your info pack posted to.

Thanks - One seriously miffed Roo... :bang:

  4. PLEASE NOTE ALL ATTENDING MEMBERS THIS SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED

    Hello all.

Some bad news. I received the email below yesterday - Harewood have had to cancel the show altogether. This is very disappointing especially as this was the biggest attendance from 350z-UK so far but the tickets we have are still valid for entry to Harewood and represent a considerable saving on the normal gate price plus and on top of that the club will still have the booking carried over to next year. So unless they hike the prices up between now and then this means you should all still get an entry next year.

Also as you may have seen I am stepping down as area rep. Obviously as the Zed has gone now im winding down my involvement but I will hang around for a transition to whoever takes on the new role.

I have sent out a PM to all those who have not yet let me have their address. Please can you let me know where you want your ticket sent.

Subject: Father's Day Classic Car Show at Harewood House - UPDATE

    To:

    Dear Exhibitor

We have looked at the logistics of rescheduling the Fathers’ Day Classic Car for later in the year and, unfortunately, for a number of reasons this will not be possible. This is a real disappointment to all of us.

The entry/administration fee that you have paid for this year will be carried over as a credit for next year. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds. We would, however, like to invite you to use the complimentary tickets we sent out with your booking information. These tickets will be valid until the end of October but are not valid on event days, so please double check on the website before you visit. Your tickets will admit 2 adults and up to 3 children. If you plan to come as a group/club please call us to arrange beforehand - that way we can be sure we are able to accommodate you.

We hope you will be able to join us for Father’s Day next year.

The Harewood Events team will focus their efforts in ensuring that the 2013 Father’s Day Classic Car Rally is better than ever.

    Dear Classic Car Exhibitor

Due to the recent wet weather, Harewood has made the difficult decision to postpone their Father’s Day Classic Car Rally which was due to take place this weekend, on Sunday 17th June.

The ground has been inspected and is waterlogged, and it will not be possible to hold the event in these conditions.

You were due to exhibit your car, your entry ticket will be valid for the re-scheduled event and we will contact you in due course. We are hoping to reschedule in August or September.

    Regards

    Helen

  6. I am keeping an eye on the weather chaps.

At the minute Sunday is Light Showers according to metoffice @ Harewood House.

For peace of mind i will try and get in touch with Harewood House today and confirm what the situation is.

I have been there in the wet before and because it is reasonable level it isnt normally too much of a problem.

Ill get them to confirm I am ok to come in and get Gazebo set up and such as well

  7. My 2003 was for sale recently for £7k and mine was on 47k and UK spec. So it seems a bit high IMO. Mods dont really add much value as its down to personal taste. If its what you were looking for then you may be quids in and saves you some work - i notice the nissan badge is missing from the front and not smoothed out. Cant say I like the orange and GM scheme myself.

But £6500 for an import on that milage in the current market is keen.

Remember you will have to declare the mods when you insure it and there are quite a lot listed there.

P.S. Any tint on the side windows is probably illegal. If you get pulled by VOSA you may have to have it removed. I was told by VOSA officer its virtually impossible to legally tint side windows.

  8. Regular Jap meet Stop off for a natter and a coffee. Cars start turning up from 6.30 gets really busy as the evening goes on especially in summer. Despite the rain last month folks were double parked and some very nice motors turned out B)

Put your name down if you will be attending

  9. Hi all - sorry yep

Ticket handover please try and be at the meeting point for around 8.30 - the plan is to head off by about 8.45 to give plenty of time to get in to Harewood. Public start coming in from 10 and we need to be all parked up by then, on occasion ( if the weather is nice ) traffic can get heavy between 9-10 so getting in before the rush is a good idea.

Meeting point it the Fox and Grapes. Its the place we used last year & it has a big carpark. I have managed to get up there to check its suddenly fitted big gates but i have managed to ring them to check they have not closed down (like the last meeting place did 2 years ago  )

  10. Hi chaps.sorry. Situation being what it is i am finding it hard to do as much as i normally would.

Yes keep this as the meeting point in the morning. The car park is a decent size so should be able to accomodate us.

Ill pm my mobile number out incase we get there and its blocked off.

My bits are on order so fingers crossed!

  11. Where abouts are you. I have some part worn bridgestone re40 fronts that are ok i think. Been in my shed a year i was keeping them incase i got a puncture after i changes all 4 but if it would help drop me a pm. I wont want much for em and they will keep you going.

Im in chesterfield if your interested give me a shout ill dig em out and take a couple of pics.

  12. I won't be passing there as far as I know, I'll check a map asap (on my iPhone).

What's the standard for the show? Are a few little nicks and a hole in the dash acceptable? I don't want to let the team down!

    Cheers chap.

Dont worry chap. For the club its about getting members together. Come as you are

There is normally several rows so if you really want to hide at the back you can.

  13. If anyone wants to arrange collection and return of the flags for the event and is nearby or passing the Chesterfield area, please PM me too, as I currently have them at my house.
