I've had 3 sets of wheels powdercoated up Staffordshire way at a place called top marques and never had a problem, I think there is alot of scaremongering with powdercoating wheels. Hopefully I can find a reputable place so that the worst doesn't happen.

I'm powdercoating the standard JDM 18s, I want to keep them as a winter wheel but there is kerbing on nearly every one!

As above i'm looking for somewhere decent to powdercoat a set of 18s for me In the Reading or basingstoke area. Not a local lad so I don't know the reputation of powdercoating places round here. I'm willing to travel for a decent job.

I'm sure some of the local boys such as ChrisI can shed some light...

hmmmm very tempting but i wasn't planning on having a red theme... could work though. Show me a GM zed with a red samco'd engine bay that looks good and you've got a sale.

Will be ordering a JWT intake this month, I want an intake pipe to go with it but I want a silicone one as opposed to the plastic or different metallic ones alot of zed owners run.

So has anybody got a silicone intake pipe? Anybody know if companies like samco make them?

I've seen this linked from my350 but it looks like the pic is for illustration only as its not like the actual intake, plus i'd like a UK trader!

Got a standard catback for sale now that my K2 is on. Been on the car for around 17k miles and the tips are nice and polished!

£90 sounds fair, will consider postage. I'm based in the Berkshire/Hampshire area. Come on and fund my wheels!

It was standard on all UK cars but was part of an 'aerodynamics' pack in Japan and standard on some models. Same in the states.

hey Kris i think (pretty certain ) rawbhp has black rays on a GM , was at the ace cafe meet and they did look good

Cheers for that. I've seen nurrishs car in the flesh at japshow finale this year and I liked it. But still set on black.

I think a photoshop request may be on the cards, and I was thinking GM rays over the black ones but I can't see the big problem everyone seems to have with black rays? If done professionally with a good finish I really like them.

So black roof, tinted rear windows, GM or black rays and black GT spoiler as a photoshop request anybody?

I see where your coming from. Wasn't so much trying to persuade myself as wanting to see a pic out of curiosity, not really sure in my own head. The carbon one above looks good but I'm not wanting the carbon look. I'd be going the same with the door handles etc. Alot of people go for the the V2 spoiler but theres a reason for that!

All that said I'd still like to see a pic.

I never really liked the carbon as much as the black although it is growing on me. Was toying with the black roof and black lower grill (or possibly nismo) route. Also black or GM wheels. Would like to see a pic though tbh.
