  1. I was in a Jeep SRT Owners Club until they all started posting sh1t like this on there once the lockdown started. I gave them a colourful piece of my mind and left. Surprised that the kind of person that gets one of those has a mental age of 12 but you live and learn. Super glad this place is different.

  2. Hi guys, I've been a member here for a super long time and I find myself coming here a lot less frequently now, but I put out a video this morning on YouTube that I thought people might find useful.

I know a lot of people are struggling financially, many are furloughed, had to take huge pay cuts or lost their livelihoods.

I've made money online for a few years now through a few different avenues - some of my blogs are doing very well and I wanted to share a few thoughts with anybody who wants to find out what you can do.

If you're looking for ways to earn money and getting a new job is proving tough, check out this video - it might help!

11 Best Ways To Make Money Online in 2020.

(To admins - I make no money from this, have no affiliate links and do not sell anything. Simply trying to help!)

  3. I've still got mine! Been over 10 years now!!!

Got a little too much sentimental value - been to about 40 different countries together covering over 200k miles! :)))

Not my daily driver for about 3 years now, but still love it to bits!

  4. Hi all,

Today is a super exciting day over at LazyTrips... We have just launched our new hotel booking engine. You can check it out at https://lazytrips.com

The design and user journey has been completely redone from the ground up. We quite like it - any thoughts and feedback is super welcome!

We know there are a few things that we need to improve/fix/speed up - there is a whole list of these that we are working through, but it should be pretty good regardless :)

If you are planning your summer trips, I would really appreciate it if you could take a look and see if we can get you great hotels at great rates!

LazyTrips - road trip website gets a new look!

    Here are the key points:

    • Over 300,000 hotels worldwide on our platform
    • In most cases we have cheaper rates than Booking.com and Hotels.com - in some cases by a lot
    • Super cool booking tool that looks and feels a lot better
    • You have yourself proper customer service from yours truly rather than having to call some call centre in Manila.

  5. Thanks buddy!

Im wanting to do the road trip to scotland next year. They say April is best time to avoid huge amount of tourists. But would be a nice addition for the UK initially! The write ups on the site for the south of england/scotland road trips are quite good. Just reading it now

  6. Good point - we are working on something like this, but not sure it'll be here in time for summer trip planning.

We actually have some seriously cool booking tools in final development stages - will be releasing these in the next week or so.

Then we're back to developing our trip planner which is a big rework of something that we released before but was not quite good enough - this time it will be really epic! :)

  7. In case anybody is shopping for holidays next year, LazyTrips is currently running on promotional rates which mean that our hotels are typically cheaper than the major online booking websites.

We're running promotional pricing today and might extend this for another week or two before putting them back to normal levels.

Take a look! Some seriously good deals to be had!

  8. Hi all,

I would like to announce LazyTrips as a trader on 350z-uk and tell you a little about what we do and why we do it!

    Our website is: https://lazytrips.com

Cheap hotel prices: https://lazytrips.com/hotels (currently in beta with promotional rates)

Some of you may know that I have a personal passion for road trips and travel off the beaten track. Over the years, I have explored a lot of countries including some amazing trips in the 350z. In fact I have driven the zed to places like Bosnia, Kosovo and Albania, Poland, Belarus and Russia as well as most of central and western Europe, the Balkans and Baltic states. Recently I decided to use the knowledge and experience accumulated through travel and build a travel website for similarly minded people - that's what LazyTrips is.

This summer we have launched our site and have been growing super fast since then. So far we have:

    • Fast growing amount of interesting information - in particular sample trips you can take, itineraries and detailed information about destinations plus some great photos.
    • Our very own hotel booking engine with over 300,000 hotels. Our prices are currently cheaper than Booking.com and Hotels.com on the majority of hotels and we have most of the popular European destinations covered. We will be adding a lot more cities to our database in about 2 weeks. Please let me know if you are looking to book a hotel in a city we don't have - we'll have it up quickly.

We are currently redesigning our trip planner which allows you to plan a whole trip itinerary and book all the hotels in one super easy tool. In the coming months we are planning to add a whole lot more features which will allow you to add car hire, flights and anything else you might need to book to your trip plan, book everything in one go and save money in the process. What's not to like?!

We are releasing weekly website updates (sometimes more frequent) - I will drop notes here when something major comes along to keep you guys updated.

Really keen on people's feedback and thoughts - we are new and we know we're not going to get everything right day 1 but we're going to keep improving from here!

    Happy travels!

  9. Thank you everyone!

Been a crazy busy period - was on the road until yesterday!

Will be posting an intro post and properly introducing people to our site and what we are doing shortly. We have recently made a lot of changes and simplified some bits. This means we removed some really cool functionality (trip planner) which will be making a return in the next few months to add to other tools!

    Stay tuned!

  10. Hi all,

Hi everyone, it's been a while...

I have a slightly strange one. My car is in Nottingham. It is not driveable (clutch completely gone & car not used). I need some decent garage to come and pick it up, take it to their shop and do the following work:

    1. Clutch (& presumably plate) replacement

    2. ABS fix - my ABS is gone. I am presuming one or more of the rings/sensors on the hubs. Needs checking

    3. One of my skirts has a gaping hole. Needs to be patched up professionally OR I will need a replacement fitting

    4. Passenger window motor replacement

If car can be picked up over the weekend of 24-25 Feb, I would be delighted.

    Any suggestions/offers?

    Sasha

  11. Hi all,

Been a busy few months and due to moving abroad, I have to part with my Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT.

Car is a full UK spec SRT Model with the naturally aspirated 6.4l (392) HEMI under the bonnet. Absolutely amazing car that has been a real pleasure to drive and a real shame to sell.

Full spec includes great half leather seats, full entertainment system, really great interior and a lot of great touches. Under the bonnet, we have a 461 bhp HEMI V8 which sounds and drives like an absolute dream. I am advertising the car on several popular websites, but thought I'd drop it into here to see if anybody fancies a major upgrade. Smile on your face guaranteed every time.

Car is a 1 owner from new (me) and has done 9,000 miles most of which was 1 European road trip (Swiss car tax for 2017 comes included!). First registered in March 2017 and has been very sparingly used, especially as I have been travelling for work a fair bit. Car has just had its first service. Next two services are free and included in a national dealer servicing pack.

Best deal on one of these in the country. Please share if you know of anybody who might be interested.

Car located near Sevenoaks in Kent.

    Price: £47,995

  12. I bought £12 of wiring and installed it myself. Not funky so no computer access, but I can call/text my car and it calls/texts where it is. Total cost £17 including £5 pay as you go credit for the car's phone number!

  13. Some cars here are pushing the 150k-200k range with no issues at all. This depends a lot on how the car has been maintained and serviced and what petrol has been used through the engine's life.

Check for typical wear, rust around wheel arches, creaks and noises that shouldn't be there, but overall, you're buying some pretty robust Japanese manufacturing so if it is well looked after, it should run just fine for another 100k!

  14. Last time was a few months ago by a road block check point in north Montenegro just after crossing from Bosnia. Police was after some bribe money but let us go when I pointed out all the hardware and cameras were recording. :) Dashcams are a must on long trips!

Can anyone beat my record of 4 times in the space of 8 days ?

6 times in one day (Minsk to Moscow)

7 times in another (St Petersburg to Gdansk)

    Russian police is pretty special...

  15. From a long-term owner of a zed and a V6 TT, there is no contest. Zed is a sports car, the TT/TTS/TTRS is reasonably quick numbers-wise but is a boring hairdressers' car. Comparatively poor feel, response, everything doesn't feel quite right.

Reliability on the TT was woeful. Everything that can ever go wrong on a car has gone wrong. Things that should never go bad like door handles or water ducts under the bonnet go bad. All the time. If you visit the TT V6 / TTS owners club, you can tell the difference by the number of threads about fixing stuff vs anything else compared to here.

I don't know about the very new models, but would not touch the Mk2 with a barge pole

  16. I'm certain Corbyn will quit after a loss, particularly if it's heavy. His whole position is about having a mandate, a loss at an election erodes that. Also, I'm quite sure he'll be exhausted from fighting both the Labour Tories and the actual Tories by that point!

It'll be interesting to see who it actually is the Labour MPs have been wanting all along, so far the "electable" superstar candidate they've been on about doesn't actually exist!

Disagree. Think it's pretty clear that Chuka Umunna is the next leader. He will wait for the loss before coming through as there is no way for him to around the Labour deficit before then...
