Hi, I'm after an undertray for my 08 plate Zed. The current one is broken but has been temporarily fixed. Can anyone help?

Hey all, Thanks for the responses (and for the 350ish translation bronzee!!!). Not got any further with the Stealer but my detailer (Dave @ Sportscar Protection) says it needs a full paint correction again. He's took some pics and is going to send me a report - I'll then give them 14 days to settle and if they don't I'm going to put a claim in through the small claims court. They've REALLY annoyed me, particularly since they tried to lie about it. Oh yeah, they've now admitted that they "wet the car and wiped it over with a chamois". Who does that to a dirty car - what numpties!!!

Hi guys and gals Thanks for all your replies - you have made me feel most welcome and I think the site is great. You won't be surprised to hear I haven't got far with the dealer. So far they've offered me a "detail" by their GTR technicians or £50 towards getting it re-done myself. I've told them they're taking the mickey and I'll take some advice and get back to them. I might take them through the small claims court, just for the hell of it...... I do like ChrisS' suggestion of offering to scratch one of their 370s though, that might just work! I'll let you know how I get on.

Hello, I finally fulfilled my dream and picked up my 08 plate Zed in September and have since had her professionally detailed (beautiful!). Imagine my dismay when I visited a Nissan main dealer this morning (to hopefully reattach a lose under tray) and despite my rather specific instrucitons NOT to, they washed her, scratching the paint on the bonnet. I'm currently waiting for the Service Manager to call me back to confirm they'll pay for the paint correction to be redone and I'm absolutely furious.... ! As you might have guessed, they said the tray needs to be replaced, so does anyone know how much this "should" cost (as they've quoted me £170 for the replacement part)? Anyway, I am glad to be introducing myself and am chuffed to be able to say I am a Zed owner. I did wonder about splashing out completely on a 370 (even though it's a 350 I've been lusting after for the last few years) and I have to say I am very glad I didn't. There's something about the 350 that you can't beat (plus, I hate the cheap and tacky Renault start button iginitiion in the 370!). I hope I haven't waffled on too much - I'm not very good at this forum kind of thing. I've been persuaded by my boyfriend (an Evo VII owner) that Forums are the place to find out everything you need to know about owning a car and having had a bit of a nosy around I think he's right (although, I won't be telling him that!). I am certainly now looking forward to speaking to you again in the future and keeping up to date with the Zed news. Bye for now.....
